WHAT IT DOES

Polkadot Parachain Manager provides comprehensive visibility into the operational state of Polkadot parachains. It reads and displays parachain status showing active, leasing, expiring, or upgrading states, parachain ID for identification, relay chain state with current block height, validator set for the current epoch, parachain slot information including lease period duration, auction status for slot acquisition, crowdloan contributions for fundraising, parachain balance for native tokens, parachain account state for on-chain accounts, runtime version for compatibility, parachain head data for the latest block, included blocks for confirmed blocks, pending blocks for block accumulation, parachain message queues for cross-chain messages, cross-chain message status for XCM tracking, XCM channel state for inter-chain communication, HRMP channel state for cross-chain messaging, DMP queue state for downward messages, parachain token balances for asset tracking, parachain staking state for collator staking, collator set for block producers, collator performance for production metrics, parachain governance state for on-chain governance, referenda status for active proposals, treasury balance for available funds, parachain upgrades for runtime changes, and runtime upgrades for code version tracking. All data is organized in a clean dashboard with parachain status indicators, relay chain context, and detailed operational metrics.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet to the tool and select the network where you want to manage parachain data. Enter the parachain ID and relay chain endpoint in the input fields. Click "Manage Parachain" to connect to the relay chain and retrieve the parachain's operational state. The tool will query the relay chain for parachain status, slot information, collator set, XCM channels, and treasury balance. Results are displayed in organized cards showing parachain status, relay chain block height, included and pending blocks, slot status, lease period, collator count, XCM channels, and treasury balance. The tool works with any Polkadot parachain accessible via a relay chain RPC endpoint.

THE MECHANISM

Polkadot Parachain Manager performs client-side simulation of parachain state monitoring by querying relay chain state information. The tool connects to the specified relay chain endpoint and queries parachain-related storage items from the relay chain. It reads the parachain status from the relay chain's para state, retrieves the current lease period and slot information, and queries the collator set for the parachain. XCM channel states are determined by reading HRMP channel storage and DMP queue state. Treasury balance and governance state are queried from the parachain's runtime. The tool simulates the process of connecting to a relay chain node, authenticating the connection, and querying multiple storage items efficiently using batch requests. Block height and validator set information are obtained from the relay chain's session and consensus modules. Pending block counts and included block tracking are derived from relay chain inclusion data.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

Polkadot Parachain Manager cannot verify that the parachain's runtime is secure or free from vulnerabilities without running a full node and auditing the runtime code. The tool cannot detect if the parachain is under active attack or experiencing consensus issues, as that requires monitoring validator behavior and network conditions. It cannot verify that the collator set is acting honestly without monitoring multiple collators and comparing their performance. The tool cannot predict parachain slot renewal outcomes or auction results, as those depend on future events. It cannot prove that the parachain's state matches the relay chain's view without comparing with other nodes. The tool also cannot detect if the relay chain itself is experiencing issues or if the endpoint is compromised.

Parachain management results are for monitoring and diagnostics only. The tool is free to use and does not store or transmit any parachain data off-device.
