WHAT IT DOES
Polygon zkEVM Bridge Helper is your intelligent companion for navigating Polygon zkEVM bridge transactions. It automatically detects bridge interfaces on supported pages—whether you're depositing funds to zkEVM, withdrawing back to Ethereum mainnet, or transferring assets across networks. The tool identifies the bridge amount, token type, source and destination networks, and reads real-time gas prices from both chains simultaneously. It calculates the total cost including gas fees on both the source and destination networks, displays everything in a clear summary panel, and provides one-click execution directly through your connected wallet with full transaction tracking and confirmation monitoring.
WHERE IT RUNS
This script runs on all official Polygon zkEVM bridge interfaces, including polygon.technology, bridge.zkevm.polygon.technology, and portal.polygon.technology domains. It works on any page that hosts the Polygon zkEVM bridge interface, automatically detecting the bridge components regardless of how they're structured. The tool adapts to both the classic bridge UI and newer portal interfaces, ensuring compatibility across all official Polygon bridge implementations.
HOW TO USE
Install the script through the BotGentz userscript manager. Navigate to any supported Polygon zkEVM bridge page. Click "Connect Wallet" to link your EVM wallet extension—the tool supports MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, and any Web3-compatible wallet. The panel will automatically detect the bridge interface and display all relevant information: bridge amount, token, source and destination networks, gas prices on both chains, and estimated total cost. Adjust your bridge amount in the page, and the panel updates in real-time. When ready, click "Execute Bridge" to initiate the transaction. The script handles transaction signing, submission, and confirmation monitoring, alerting you when the bridge completes successfully.
DUAL-CHAIN GAS DETECTION & COST AGGREGATION
Unlike simple bridge calculators that estimate costs based on static assumptions, this tool performs live RPC queries through window.ethereum to fetch current gas prices from both the source and destination chains simultaneously. It uses the actual eth_gasPrice method to read real-time network conditions, then applies intelligent cost aggregation that accounts for gas costs on both the source chain (for the deposit transaction) and the destination chain (for the finalization transaction). The tool dynamically estimates gas limits based on typical bridge transaction patterns (150,000 gas default) and provides accurate total cost in ETH. When ethers.js is available, it further refines estimates using contract ABIs and on-chain fee data, giving you the most accurate bridge cost picture available.
THE PANEL
The floating panel is fully draggable and snap-to-edge enabled. You can collapse it to a compact bubble when not in use, resize it to your preferred dimensions, and it remembers its position across page loads using persistent storage. Press Escape to quickly dismiss the panel. The panel automatically updates every 30 seconds with fresh gas data and bridge status, ensuring you always have current information before committing to a transaction.
PLEASE NOTE
This script requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed in your browser—it does not run as a standalone extension. You also need a real EVM wallet extension already installed and configured. The tool works exclusively with the Polygon zkEVM bridge and related official Polygon interfaces. Bridge interfaces may change over time, which could temporarily break detection; the script will notify you if it cannot find the bridge components. No user data is collected, stored, or transmitted—all wallet interactions stay local in your browser. Bridge transaction success depends on network conditions, gas availability, and bridge contract state; the tool provides cost estimates and execution assistance but cannot guarantee bridge completion if network congestion or bridge contract issues occur.
