WHAT IT DOES

Portfolio Tracker provides a comprehensive view of your EVM wallet holdings. Enter a wallet address (or use your connected wallet), and the tool displays ERC-20 token balances with metadata (name, symbol, decimals, balance, and estimated USD value), NFT holdings (ERC-721 and ERC-1155) with names and token IDs, and total estimated portfolio value. The tool organizes assets by type — tokens and NFTs — and provides a summary of total tokens, total NFTs, and overall portfolio value. This is essential for investors monitoring their crypto holdings, tracking wallet performance, or getting a quick overview of their on-chain assets.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the BGWallet bridge (MetaMask or any Web3 wallet). The tool automatically detects your network and current block. Enter the wallet address you want to track — or click "Use my wallet" to fill in your connected address. Select the asset type: "All assets" to view both tokens and NFTs, "Tokens only" to see only ERC-20 tokens, or "NFTs only" to see only NFT holdings. Click "Track portfolio" to fetch and display the data. Results display the wallet address, total token count, total NFT count, estimated total portfolio value, and a detailed list of tokens and NFTs with their balances, symbols, and estimated values. Token balances are formatted with the correct decimals, and NFTs are displayed with their names and token IDs. The tool uses simulated data for demonstration — real portfolio tracking would require on-chain balance reads and price feeds.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool simulates portfolio tracking using client-side data generation. For tokens, it generates a list of sample ERC-20 tokens (ETH, USDC, USDT, UNI, LINK) with realistic balances and estimated USD values. The balance is randomized slightly to simulate real-world variation. For NFTs, it generates sample holdings from popular collections (Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks) with token IDs and estimated values. The tool categorizes assets based on the selected type and calculates the total portfolio value by summing the estimated values of all assets. The tool does not actually query the blockchain for token balances or NFT data — it uses simulated data for demonstration purposes. All operations are performed client-side — no data is stored or transmitted. The tool is read-only and does not sign any transactions.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot fetch real-time token prices without external price feed (oracle) or API — the USD values are simulated and not based on actual market data. It cannot track off-chain assets or fiat currencies — only on-chain token and NFT holdings are displayed. It cannot provide historical portfolio performance or P&L — the tool only shows current holdings. It cannot detect tokens with privacy features (e.g., Tornado Cash, zk-proofs) — the simulation uses standard ERC-20 tokens. It cannot track cross-chain holdings without additional configuration — the tool only shows assets on the current network. It cannot automatically detect all tokens in a wallet — the simulation uses a predefined set of tokens. It cannot fetch real NFT metadata without external APIs. The tool is read-only and does not sign any transactions.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool works exclusively with EVM-compatible chains for the wallet connection, but the portfolio simulation is chain-agnostic. Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and XRP are not supported for wallet connection but the simulation works regardless. The tool uses simulated data — for real portfolio tracking, integrate with a price feed like CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, or Chainlink. The tool does not store any data — all operations are performed client-side. The tool is provided as-is with no warranty or liability. Always verify token prices and holdings from multiple sources.
