Works out how long an article will take you to read and shows a thin progress bar at the top of the page telling you how far through you are and how many minutes are left.

Install the free BotGentz extension, buy, click your install link. Set your own reading speed with the slider and every estimate adjusts.
WHY THE ESTIMATE IS RIGHT
Counting every word on a page includes menus, sidebars and footers, which overstates the time badly. This scores blocks by text density against link count and measures only the article itself.
THE PANEL
Drag it anywhere by its header. It remembers where you put it on each site, snaps to the nearest corner, collapses, resizes, and hides to a bubble with Escape — so it never covers what you are reading.
