About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Sealed-Bid Token Sale Reveal-and-Settle Tool is a specialized DeFi tool that reads live on-chain state from sealed-bid sale contracts to enable participants to reveal their hidden bids, claim allocated tokens, and request refunds. It tracks the full auction lifecycle across bidding, reveal, and settlement phases. The tool reads the user's bid commitment, revealed bid amount, salt value, allocation amount, claimed tokens, and refund status. It also fetches global auction parameters including total bids, clearing price, reserve price, minimum and maximum bid limits, and settlement completion status. The tool displays comprehensive bid history and bidder lists, allowing users to verify their participation and outcomes. It supports both native currency and ERC-20 payment tokens, and handles the three critical actions that complete any sealed-bid auction: revealing the bid with the correct salt, claiming the allocated tokens after settlement, and requesting a refund for unallocated or excess funds.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet and select your network from the dropdown. Paste the sealed-bid sale contract address, the token contract address being sold, and optionally the payment token address (leave blank for native currency). Click "Refresh State" to load all auction parameters and your personal bid information. Review the current phase, bidding and reveal periods, settlement timeline, total bids, and clearing price. Check your commitment hash, revealed bid amount, token allocation, and refund availability. During the reveal phase, enter your original bid amount and the salt value you used when creating your commitment, then click "Reveal Bid" to submit the reveal transaction. After settlement begins, click "Claim Tokens" to receive your allocated tokens. If your bid was not fully filled or the reserve price was not met, click "Refund" to recover your excess payment. The tool updates all state information after each transaction.

COMMITMENT VERIFICATION AND REVEAL VALIDATION ENGINE

The tool implements a secure reveal validation process that ensures only correctly committed bids can be revealed. It reads the bid commitment hash from the contract using the user's address. When the user enters their bid amount and salt, the tool computes the Keccak-256 hash of the concatenated bid amount and salt, compares it against the stored commitment, and displays a validation indicator. This off-chain verification helps users confirm they are revealing the correct bid before submitting the transaction. The tool then constructs the reveal transaction with the validated bid amount and salt parameters. For ERC-20 payment tokens, the tool checks the user's allowance and triggers an approval transaction if needed. During settlement, the tool reads the user's allocation amount from the contract and displays it alongside the clearing price. The tool also tracks whether the user has already claimed their allocation to prevent duplicate claims. For refunds, the tool checks the refundAvailable flag, which indicates whether the user has excess funds to recover due to partial allocation, bid above the clearing price, or reserve price not met.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the bid commitment was correctly formed off-chain or that the user's bid amount and salt match the original commitment until revealed. It cannot detect if the bidder's salt has been exposed before reveal by malicious actors. It cannot guarantee that the reveal transaction will be processed before the reveal period ends due to network congestion or latency. It cannot ensure that the settlement will succeed due to contract state changes, upgrades, or pauses. It cannot verify that the token being sold has value, liquidity, or is not a scam. It cannot recover funds if the contract is malicious, has bugs, or has been compromised. It cannot provide financial, investment, or tax advice. It cannot ensure that claimed tokens will be transferable or have market value. It cannot verify off-chain bid terms, confidentiality agreements, or trust assumptions. It cannot predict the clearing price or guarantee bid allocation.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool supports EVM-compatible chains only. It requires an active RPC connection and a wallet with signing capabilities. Always verify your bid amount and salt before revealing—incorrect values cannot be corrected once revealed. The tool does not custodial funds or private keys. Ensure you have sufficient balance for gas fees. The reveal transaction must be submitted before the reveal period ends or your bid will be lost.
