WHAT IT DOES

This tool evaluates session key spending cap configuration, helping users monitor and manage spending limits for session keys used in automated or delegated transactions. Given a session key contract address, a session key address, and an optional token address, it reads the spending cap, spent amount, remaining balance, active status, reset time, and expiry time for the session key. It also reads the session key's token balance and allowance if a token address is provided. The tool then determines cap status—Active (with remaining cap), Exhausted (cap reached or inactive), or Pending (no cap configured)—and displays a visual cap usage bar showing the percentage of the cap consumed. All data is pulled directly from the blockchain in real time, providing a transparent, comprehensive view of session key spending cap configuration.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the Connect button in the header. Select the target network from the dropdown—Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum One, Base, or Sepolia testnet. Enter the session key contract address and the session key address to check. Optionally, provide a token address to check the session key's token balance and allowance. Click "Check cap." The tool will fetch the spending cap parameters, spent amount, remaining balance, active status, reset time, expiry, token balance, and allowance. Results appear in the card below with a prominent cap status badge, a visual cap usage bar showing the percentage of the cap consumed, detailed cap information including cap limit, spent amount, remaining balance, reset time, and expiry, token balance and allowance if provided, and a breakdown of cap factors with checkmarks or crosses. Use this information to monitor and configure session key spending caps.

SESSION KEY SPENDING CAP VERIFICATION WITH USAGE TRACKING AND EXPIRY ANALYSIS

The tool provides comprehensive session key spending cap verification through multiple on-chain reads. First, it calls getSpendingCap() to retrieve the cap limit, getSpent() to get the amount already spent, and getRemaining() to get the remaining balance. It then calls isActive() to check if the session key is active, getResetTime() for the reset timestamp, and getExpiry() for the expiration time. The cap usage percentage is calculated as (spent / cap) * 100, displayed as a visual bar with color coding—green for under 70%, amber for 70-90%, and red for over 90%. The cap status is determined by combining active status, cap vs spent comparison, and expiry check. If a token address is provided, the tool reads the session key's token balance using balanceOf() and its allowance for the session contract using allowance(). The expiry time is compared against the current timestamp to determine if the session key has expired. All factors are combined to provide a clear, actionable view of session key spending cap configuration with detailed usage, expiry, and balance information.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot guarantee cap enforcement—the session contract may not enforce the cap correctly. It cannot predict spending patterns or ensure that the cap will be sufficient for future transactions. It cannot verify off-chain session conditions or ensure that the session key is being used correctly. It cannot detect cap manipulation or ensure that spending is accurately tracked. It cannot ensure spending accuracy or detect errors in the spent amount calculation. It cannot assure that the session key contract is free from vulnerabilities, bugs, or malicious code. It cannot verify that the session contract address or session key address is correct. It cannot detect front-running or other execution risks. It cannot provide financial or legal advice or guarantee that relying on the session key is safe. PLEASE NOTE

This tool supports EVM-compatible chains only: Ethereum Mainnet (1), Polygon (137), Optimism (10), Arbitrum One (42161), Base (8453), and Sepolia testnet (11155111). Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and XRP are not supported. The tool requires a Web3 provider (MetaMask or WalletConnect) and access to an RPC endpoint for the selected chain. It does not store any wallet data, session keys, or cap records. All queries are performed directly against the blockchain in real time. The tool only provides read-only information and does not execute any transactions. Spending caps and usage amounts are contract-defined values and do not guarantee cap enforcement. Always verify critical data independently through a block explorer and consult with developers before relying on any session key configuration.
