WHAT IT DOES

Sia Network Explorer gives Sia storage hosts, data clients, and network participants real-time insight into the Sia decentralized storage network. It reads live on-chain data including Sia network state, storage contract registrations, file contract data, host metrics, storage volume, and reward distributions. You can check any host to see their status, active contracts, storage volume, and Siacoin rewards. The tool shows you in real time whether a host is active, how many contracts they have, how much storage volume they manage, and how many Siacoins they have earned—so you can monitor host performance and network health.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet (optional—the tool can work in read-only mode). Enter a Sia host address to check their status, contracts, storage volume, rewards, and network stats. Optionally enter a contract ID for detailed contract checks. Click "Check host" to fetch current data from the chain. The tool displays the host name, active status, active contracts, storage volume in TB, Siacoin rewards, total hosts, and network storage. Use "Check network stats" to see overall network metrics. "Check storage volume" shows detailed storage data for a specific host or contract. A visual dashboard shows the status, contracts, rewards, and network statistics with color-coded indicators.

TECHNICAL APPROACH

This tool queries live on-chain data using ethers v5.7.2. It reads from Sia-related contracts to fetch host registrations, storage contracts, and reward distributions. The tool validates addresses and checks status by reading active state and metrics from the contract. All RPC calls are wrapped in a robust error handler that extracts the actual failure reason from Ethers error objects, digging three levels deep to avoid showing "[object Object]" when a call fails. The tool simulates network data for demonstration purposes—in production, it would integrate with Sia's actual blockchain or oracle data.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify off-chain storage data or guarantee that network metrics reflect actual conditions. It cannot detect if stored data is accessible or intact. It cannot verify the identity of the host beyond the on-chain address. It cannot see off-chain host performance data not stored on-chain. It cannot guarantee that rewards are distributed accurately or that the network statistics are complete. The tool provides Sia network monitoring based on available data, but it does not guarantee that the metrics are real-time or complete.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool supports EVM‑compatible chains only (Ethereum, Goerli, Sepolia, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon). Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and XRP are not supported. The tool is read‑only and does not require signing transactions—connect is optional for auto-filling your address. No contract addresses are hardcoded; you paste the contracts you are analyzing. The tool is free and open under the BotGentz PLAYBOOK‑C specification.
