About this app

WHAT IT DOES

SLA Breach Highlighter is a floating panel that scans the current page for Service Level Agreement (SLA) related dates — due dates, response times, resolution times, deadlines, and target dates. It compares each date against your SLA threshold and highlights entries with color-coded indicators: red for breached, yellow for approaching, and green for safe. The panel shows a summary of how many items are in each status and provides a detailed list with hours remaining.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script runs on any website you visit — ticketing systems, project management tools, CRM dashboards, or any page with SLA-related dates. It reads only the page you are looking at, never other tabs, bookmarks, or browser data. All data stays in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.

HOW TO USE

Open any page with SLA dates or deadlines. Click the SLA Breach Highlighter panel button in the BotGentz extension toolbar. The panel appears at the edge of the page. Set your SLA threshold in hours and warning threshold, then click "Scan Page". The tool highlights entries directly on the page and displays a summary in the panel. Use "Clear Highlights" to remove color coding, or "Copy Results" to copy the full analysis to your clipboard.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool scans the page for date patterns using regular expressions that match due date, SLA, response by, resolution by, deadline, target date, and ETA formats. It also scans table cells and elements for date-like content near SLA-related keywords. Each detected date is parsed and compared against the current time. If the date is past the SLA threshold, the element is highlighted red and marked as "Breached." If the date is within the warning window, it's highlighted yellow and marked as "Warning." Otherwise, it's highlighted green and marked as "OK." All calculations run client-side in pure JavaScript.

THE PANEL

The panel is a floating overlay that you can drag anywhere on the screen by its header. It remembers its position per site so it reappears where you left it. The panel can be collapsed into a small handle to get it out of the way, and snapped to the edge of the page. It can be resized to fit your workflow. Press Escape to close the panel.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to run. All data stays in your browser — nothing is transmitted or shared. The panel works on any website. Date detection works on many common formats but may not catch all variations. SLA and warning thresholds are configurable and saved locally. Sites change — the script may need updates to match new site structures.
