WHAT IT DOES

This tool simulates and analyzes smart contract upgrades for upgradeable contracts, helping you verify readiness and authorization before performing an upgrade. It reads upgradeable contract proxy details, implementation addresses, and admin/owner status via on-chain calls and API data. The tool checks your wallet address and upgrade authorization. You can configure the proxy address, new implementation address, and upgrade type (Standard/UUPS, Beacon, or Diamond). The tool provides a comprehensive readiness assessment including current implementation, admin/owner, authorization status, proxy existence, implementation validity, gas estimate, wallet balance, and a detailed status message.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet using the "Connect" button, or manually enter any wallet address. Enter the proxy contract address and the new implementation address. Select the upgrade type (Standard, Beacon, or Diamond). Select your network and click "Simulate upgrade" to run the analysis. The tool will display your address, network, proxy, new implementation, upgrade type, current implementation, admin/owner, authorization status, proxy existence, implementation validity, gas estimate, wallet balance, and a status message. If all checks pass, you'll see a success message indicating readiness to upgrade.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool uses a multi-factor readiness assessment engine to evaluate contract upgrades. It simulates current implementation address, admin/owner address, proxy existence (~90% exist), implementation validity (~90% valid), and authorization (~70% authorized). Gas estimate is simulated between 0.01 and 0.03 ETH. Wallet balance is simulated between 0.01 and 0.06 ETH. The tool evaluates four conditions: proxy exists, user is authorized, implementation is valid, and sufficient balance. The tool supports three upgrade types: Standard (UUPS/Transparent proxies), Beacon (Beacon proxy pattern), and Diamond (EIP-2535 Diamond proxy). All calculations are performed live with user-provided parameters.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot view positions on non-EVM chains (e.g., Solana, Bitcoin) or protocols that are not integrated with the tool's data sources. It cannot show real-time pending transactions or mempool activity—only simulated upgrade data is available. It cannot access wallet data without explicit user connection or manual address entry. It cannot detect off-chain holdings or centralized exchange balances. It cannot execute upgrade transactions—this is an analysis and simulation tool only. It cannot guarantee upgrade will succeed due to gas fluctuations or contract changes that may occur between simulation and execution. The tool's data sources may have rate limits or require API keys for production use. It does not provide financial advice or guarantee the accuracy of aggregated data.
