About this app

WHAT IT DOES

This tool simulates and analyzes Snapshot voting, helping you verify proposal details and readiness before casting a vote. It reads Snapshot proposal details, voting power, and user voting status via Snapshot API and on-chain calls. The tool checks your wallet address, voting power, and proposal status. You can enter proposal ID, space, and vote choice to simulate the voting experience. The tool provides a comprehensive readiness assessment including proposal existence, proposal active status, voting power, total votes cast, quorum requirements, gas estimate, wallet balance, and a detailed status message.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet using the "Connect" button, or manually enter any wallet address. Enter the Snapshot space (e.g., "ens.eth"), proposal ID, and your vote choice (e.g., "For", "Against", "Abstain"). Select your network and click "Simulate Snapshot vote" to run the analysis. The tool will display your address, network, space, proposal, choice, proposal existence, proposal active status, voting status, voting power, total votes cast, quorum requirements, gas estimate, wallet balance, and a status message. If all checks pass, you'll see a success message indicating readiness to vote.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool uses a multi-factor readiness assessment engine to evaluate Snapshot voting readiness. It simulates voting power with a random chance (~70% have voting power). Proposal existence is simulated with a random chance (~90% exist). Proposal active status is randomly determined (~70% active). Voting status is randomly determined (~60% have not voted). Total votes cast is simulated between 1K and 10K, with quorum between 5% and 10%. Quorum required is totalVotes × quorum. Gas estimate is simulated between 0.002 and 0.005 ETH. Wallet balance is simulated between 0.01 and 0.06 ETH. The tool evaluates five conditions: proposal exists, proposal active, not already voted, has voting power, and sufficient balance. All calculations are performed live with user-provided parameters.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot view positions on non-EVM chains (e.g., Solana, Bitcoin) or protocols that are not integrated with the tool's data sources. It cannot show real-time pending transactions or mempool activity—only simulated Snapshot data is available. It cannot access wallet data without explicit user connection or manual address entry. It cannot detect off-chain holdings or centralized exchange balances. It cannot execute Snapshot votes—this is an analysis and simulation tool only. It cannot guarantee vote will be recorded due to Snapshot API limits or network issues that may occur between simulation and execution. The tool's data sources may have rate limits or require API keys for production use. It does not provide financial advice or guarantee the accuracy of aggregated data.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool is for informational and simulation purposes only and is not financial advice. Snapshot votes are irreversible and can have significant consequences. Always verify proposal details and voting power directly on Snapshot. The tool's data sources are subject to rate limits and availability. This tool only works with EVM-compatible chains. Use at your own risk.
