WHAT IT DOES Social Sentiment Tracker lets you monitor social media sentiment for any asset, token, or keyword. You enter the asset or keyword to track, select platforms (Twitter, Reddit, News, Telegram), and choose a timeframe (1 hour to 30 days). The tool aggregates simulated sentiment data and displays overall sentiment (positive, negative, neutral), sentiment score, mention volume, and a breakdown by platform. This is essential for traders, investors, and analysts who want to gauge market sentiment and make informed decisions based on social media activity. It reads the current network chain ID from your wallet provider for context, but all sentiment data is simulated for demonstration purposes. HOW TO USE Connect your wallet using the "Connect" button (required for network context). Select the target network (Ethereum Mainnet, Sepolia, Polygon, BSC, Arbitrum, Optimism, and testnets are supported). Enter the asset or keyword to track (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi). Select platforms to include (Twitter, Reddit, News, Telegram). Choose a timeframe. Click "Track sentiment" — the tool will generate and display sentiment data with visual indicators. The entire operation is read-only — no transactions are signed or sent. TECHNICAL MECHANISM The tool generates simulated sentiment data based on the provided keyword and selected platforms. It calculates a sentiment score (positive - negative), distribution percentages (positive, neutral, negative), and mention volume for each platform. The overall sentiment is classified as positive (score > 0.1), negative (score < -0.1), or neutral. The tool uses ethers.js v5.7.2 for network context but does not make any on-chain calls. All sentiment data is generated locally for demonstration and educational purposes. WHAT IT CANNOT SEE The tool cannot guarantee the accuracy or relevance of sentiment data from external sources. It cannot filter sentiment for specific contexts or detect sarcasm/irony without advanced NLP processing. It is limited by the availability and reliability of external APIs and rate limits. It cannot detect on-chain events or transactions — only external social data. It cannot provide real-time sentiment without API integration. PLEASE NOTE This tool is for educational and demonstration purposes. The sentiment data is simulated and should not be used for actual trading decisions. The tool does not persist any data; all state is lost on page reload. EVM chains only.
