WHAT IT DOES

Sports-Outcome Payout Claimer connects to any EVM-based sports outcome derivative contract and enables you to claim payouts when a sports oracle confirms the specified outcome. The tool reads comprehensive contract state including payout amount, token address, policy holder address, sports oracle address, event parameters (sport type, league, teams/players, event ID), outcome condition (winner, score, spread, total points, player stats, etc.), trigger threshold/value, current outcome data, payout calculation parameters, claim window, current block timestamp, policy status (active, claimed, expired, pending, cancelled), claim history, premium paid, coverage period, and event timestamp. It then displays the current outcome data alongside the trigger condition and threshold, shows a clear visual status indicator, and enables a one-click claim transaction when the outcome condition is met. The tool handles multiple claim function signatures (claimPayout, executeSportsClaim, triggerOutcomePayout) and automatically detects the correct function to call. After submission, the tool displays the transaction hash and refreshes the contract data to show the updated claim status. This is ideal for sports betting derivatives, event-based insurance, or any conditional payout that depends on real-world sports results.

HOW TO USE

Connect your Web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any EIP-1193 provider). Select the correct network for your sports derivative contract — the tool supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche C-Chain, and BNB Chain. Paste your contract address into the input field. The tool reads the contract using a default ABI that covers standard sports derivative functions, but you can paste a custom ABI if your contract uses non-standard naming. Review the displayed data carefully: payout amount, token type, policy holder address, sport type (Football, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Hockey, Cricket, Custom), outcome data, threshold value, and policy status. The status indicator will show "⏳ Awaiting sports outcome data", "⏳ Waiting for outcome condition" with current value and threshold comparison, "✅ Sports outcome condition met! Ready to claim payout", "✅ Claim already executed", "⏰ Policy expired", or "🚫 Event cancelled". When the outcome condition is met, the policy is active, and the claim hasn't been executed, the "Claim payout" button becomes enabled. Click it to submit the claim transaction — the tool will show a confirmation dialog with all details, submit the transaction, and wait for confirmation. After successful execution, the contract data refreshes automatically to show the claim as executed.

THE REAL MECHANISM

This tool does not assume a single sports data format — it adapts to the contract's actual implementation. It first detects the correct claim function by testing common names (claimPayout, executeSportsClaim, triggerOutcomePayout) through static calls, falling back to the user-provided name if none are found. For sports data, the tool reads sportType() to determine the sport category and outcomeData() to get the current value from the oracle. It compares this value against threshold() using the contract's comparison logic — typically value >= threshold for most sports derivatives, but the contract verifies the exact condition on-chain. The tool also reads eventParams() which may contain encoded event details like league, teams, or event ID — displayed as decoded text when possible. For policy status, the tool reads policyStatus() to ensure the policy is active (0), checks that the claim hasn't been executed (1), and verifies the event hasn't been cancelled (4). The tool also reads premiumPaid() and coveragePeriod() to provide full policy context. The outcome data auto-refreshes periodically, ensuring you see the most current results. All transaction parameters are estimated using eth_estimateGas and sent with the wallet's preferred gas strategy. The tool monitors the transaction receipt and extracts the effectiveGasPrice to display actual gas cost, not the cap.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

Sports-Outcome Payout Claimer cannot verify the accuracy, timeliness, or reliability of the sports oracle data feed. It cannot detect if the sports oracle has been compromised, manipulated, or is returning incorrect data. It cannot guarantee that the outcome trigger condition is fair, reasonably set, or appropriate for the specific event. It cannot prevent the sports oracle from being updated, changed, or paused by its owner. It cannot ensure that the sports data is tamper-proof, from a trusted source, or hasn't been manipulated through MEV or front-running. It cannot detect if the sports data was delayed, censored, or otherwise tampered with before reaching the contract. It cannot verify that the payout calculation logic is correctly implemented or free from bugs. It cannot recover funds if the claim transaction fails due to contract bugs, out-of-gas errors, or other issues. It cannot detect if the sports oracle is controlled by a malicious party colluding with the policy seller. It cannot validate that the sports outcome reflects actual real-world results at the specified event. It cannot predict or verify the quality of sports data aggregation or the reliability of the underlying data sources. It cannot verify the official status of the sports event (postponed, cancelled, etc.) beyond what the contract reports.

This tool works exclusively with EVM-compatible blockchains. Non-EVM chains are not supported. The tool does not deploy contracts, manage private keys, or sign anything outside the connected wallet's secure environment. It is a read-and-execute interface that relies entirely on the sports derivative contract's implementation and the sports oracle data feed defined therein. Always verify the sports oracle address and data source directly on-chain before claiming.
