WHAT IT DOES

Stake DAO Manager provides direct, non-custodial access to the Stake DAO protocol on EVM-compatible blockchains. It enables staking operations, reward claiming, and veSDT locking mechanisms. The tool reads Stake DAO contract state, gauge controller state, staking pool state, user staked balance, user reward balance, reward rates, reward tokens, veSDT state, locking state, gauge weight state, pool state, pool TVL, chain ID, block timestamp, and gas price. It writes stake, withdraw, getReward, claimRewards, lock, unlock, withdrawLocked, increaseLock, changeUnlockTime, approve, and transfer. All operations are signed and broadcast through your connected wallet — funds never leave your control.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM-compatible wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or similar) using the wallet bridge. Select the network that matches the Stake DAO deployment you wish to use (Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, Fantom, or others). Paste the Stake DAO contract address — the tool does not hardcode any address, giving you full control to use official Stake DAO deployments or fork contracts. Choose your action from the dropdown: stake, withdraw, get rewards, claim rewards, lock, unlock, withdraw locked, increase lock, or change unlock time. Enter the staking token address, amount, and optionally lock days. Click Review to verify all parameters before signing. The tool shows a clear summary of the transaction, then signs and broadcasts through your wallet with progress tracking.

HOW IT WORKS UNDER THE HOOD

The tool uses a dynamic gas estimation strategy that adapts to network conditions. Before each transaction, it calls estimateGas on the chosen method with the exact parameters, then adds a 20% buffer to avoid out-of-gas failures. For staking operations, the tool calls the appropriate Stake DAO methods — stake to deposit tokens, withdraw to remove staked tokens, and getReward or claimRewards to collect pending rewards. The lock method creates a veSDT position with a specified lock duration, while unlock initiates the unlocking process. The withdrawLocked method removes tokens after the lock period has expired. The increaseLock method adds more tokens to an existing lock position, and changeUnlockTime extends the lock duration. After broadcasting, the tool waits for the transaction receipt using ethers.js wait() with confirmation tracking. It uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice for accurate cost reporting, not tx.gasPrice — critical for post-EIP-1559 networks.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot predict future reward rates or APY; rewards depend on protocol emissions and market conditions. It cannot verify that the protocol will continue to reward stakers at current rates; reward rates are subject to governance changes. It cannot detect if the protocol has been exploited or if there are security vulnerabilities in the staking contracts; the tool only reads state and executes authorized transactions. It cannot guarantee that rewards will be distributed on time or at the expected amounts; reward distribution depends on protocol operations. It cannot predict the future price of SDT or any reward tokens; prices are determined by market dynamics. It cannot verify that the gauge weights will remain in favor of the pool; gauge weights can change through governance.

Staking involves smart contract risks including protocol vulnerabilities and governance changes.
