WHAT IT DOES

Staking APY Overlay for Page monitors the current staking pool page, reading pool data including APY, rewards rate, staked amount, and TVL from the chain. The tool calculates the current APY and overlays a visual indicator directly on the page showing the APY with a historical trend line. It also displays detailed metrics in the panel — current APY, pool name, platform, and TVL. The overlay includes a mini sparkline showing recent APY trends, making it easy to track yield performance at a glance while you interact with the pool.

WHERE IT RUNS

This userscript runs inside major DeFi platforms including Curve, Aave, Compound, and PancakeSwap in your browser, powered by the free BotGentz extension. It operates entirely on the page you are viewing — it reads pool data from the page and optionally through your wallet provider. The tool is read-only and never signs transactions or moves funds.

HOW TO USE

Install the BotGentz extension, then install this userscript from the BotGentz catalogue. Navigate to a staking pool page on Curve, Aave, Compound, or PancakeSwap. Connect your wallet (MetaMask or any EVM-compatible wallet) — the tool uses your wallet to read on-chain pool data. Configure your settings — choose the overlay position (top-right, bottom-left, or bottom-right), toggle historical trend display, toggle TVL display, and set the refresh interval. Click "Start Monitoring" to begin. The tool will display an overlay on the page with the current APY and a historical trend sparkline. The panel shows detailed metrics including current APY, pool name, platform, and TVL.

HOW IT WORKS UNDER THE HOOD

The tool extracts pool data from the page's DOM using platform-specific selectors like .apy-value, .reward-apy, .tvl-value, and .pool-name. It reads the current APY from the page and calculates it based on the rewards rate and TVL when not directly available. The tool maintains a history of APY values, stored locally using GM_setValue, to display the trend line. The overlay is a fixed-position DOM element with a clean visual design showing the APY, a mini sparkline of recent values, and optional TVL display. The overlay updates at the configured refresh interval. All settings are persisted locally, and the tool handles page changes and wallet disconnections gracefully.

THE PANEL

The tool runs in the BotGentz panel, a draggable floating interface that stays on top of the page. You can drag the panel by its header, collapse it to a small bubble, and resize it. The panel remembers its position per site, so it stays where you left it when you return to the platform. Press Escape to close the panel when you are done. The panel includes a wallet connection button, current APY display, pool name, platform, TVL, settings for overlay position, historical trend, TVL display, and refresh interval, plus start/stop monitoring and refresh buttons.

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask or similar) already installed in your browser. The tool works on EVM chains only — Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BSC, and other EVM chains are supported. The tool is read-only and never signs transactions or moves funds. The calculated APY is an estimate based on current data and may not reflect actual future returns. DeFi platforms frequently update their interfaces — if the tool stops working, check for an updated version or report the issue. Always verify APY information against the platform's official data before making investment decisions.
