About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Stop Loss Manager enables users to create and manage stop loss orders on EVM-compatible chains. It reads and displays stop loss contract state showing current status (ACTIVE, TRIGGERED, EXECUTED, CANCELLED), stop loss owner address for the order creator, token address for the protected asset, token amount for position size, trigger price for activation, stop price for execution, current market price for comparison, order status for tracking, order expiry for timing, order fulfillment status for completion, order cancellation status for voided orders, token balances for available funds, token approvals for spending, token metadata including name, symbol, and decimals, gas price estimates for cost planning, stop loss execution history for audit, stop loss cancellation history for tracking, active stop loss count for monitoring, total protected value for exposure, average execution price for performance, price volatility metrics for risk, market trend indicators for context, and stop loss trigger events for monitoring. The tool provides a streamlined interface for creating stop loss orders, executing triggered orders, and cancelling orders.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet to the tool and select the network where your stop loss contract is deployed. Enter the stop loss contract address, token address, token amount, trigger price, stop price, and select the action (Create Stop Loss or Cancel Stop Loss). Click "Check Stop Loss" to verify the order state and get status, owner, amount, trigger price, stop price, and market price. Click "Approve Tokens" to approve the stop loss contract for token spending. Review the displayed order information, then click "Execute" to sign and submit the stop loss creation or cancellation transaction. The tool will show the transaction hash immediately, then update with the execution status once confirmed. The tool works with any EVM-compatible stop loss contract.

THE MECHANISM

Stop Loss Manager uses the standard stop loss contract interface to manage orders. The tool reads contract state using view functions including status(), owner(), tokenAddress(), tokenAmount(), triggerPrice(), stopPrice(), and marketPrice(). When creating a stop loss, the tool constructs a transaction that calls createStopLoss() on the contract with the token address, amount, trigger price, and stop price. The tool then approves the contract for token spending using the ERC-20 approve() function. When the market price reaches the trigger price, the tool can call executeStopLoss() to execute the order at the stop price. If the order needs to be cancelled, the tool calls cancelStopLoss() with the order ID. The tool monitors the market price and triggers execution when the stop loss condition is met. The tool simulates the process of connecting to a stop loss contract, reading state, constructing orders, and monitoring execution.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

Stop Loss Manager cannot guarantee that the stop loss order will execute at the exact stop price due to market slippage, as execution depends on market conditions. The tool cannot detect if the market is being manipulated to trigger stop losses, as that requires real-time monitoring of market activity. It cannot predict price movements or market volatility, as markets are unpredictable. The tool cannot verify that the order will execute before the market moves further, as execution depends on transaction confirmation times. It cannot detect if the stop loss contract is compromised or has vulnerabilities. The tool cannot guarantee that the stop loss will trigger during high volatility periods, as trigger execution depends on market conditions and gas availability.

PLEASE NOTE

Stop Loss Manager supports EVM-compatible chains only. The tool uses simulated stop loss state and does not execute transactions without user confirmation. Stop loss results are for informational purposes only — always verify trigger prices, stop prices, and market conditions before creating stop loss orders. The tool is free to use and does not store or transmit any data off-device. Always consider market volatility and slippage when setting stop loss orders.
