It reads comprehensive state from subscription and stream contracts including stream ID, subscriber address, provider address, subscription status (active, paused, terminated), pause eligibility, resume eligibility, pause duration, accumulated time, billing cycle, next billing date, platform fees, stream parameters, pause history, resume history, user's subscriptions, and subscription tier. Users can manage streams using multiple methods: pauseStream to pause payments, resumeStream to resume, toggleSubscription for toggling, or setStreamPause with explicit state control. The tool displays stream status, pause duration, accumulated time, next billing date, and pause/resume history, providing full visibility before managing subscription streams.

HOW TO USE

Connect your Web3 wallet and paste the subscription/stream contract address. The tool never hardcodes addresses—you specify the contract you're vouching for. Enter the stream ID, select the operation (pause, resume, or toggle), and optionally select a specific method. Provide custom operation data if required. Check "Approve token spending" to handle approvals automatically or "Force operation" to bypass eligibility checks. Click "Fetch stream state" to view subscriber, provider, stream status, pause duration, accumulated time, next billing date, platform fee, and pause/resume history. Review the displayed stream status and billing details carefully—pausing a subscription stops payments and adjusts billing. Click "Execute operation" to submit the pause/resume transaction. Transaction status, gas costs, and confirmation are displayed upon completion.

The tool dynamically selects the appropriate operation method based on user input—pauseStream for pausing, resumeStream for resuming, toggleSubscription for toggling, and setStreamPause for explicit state control. Gas estimation factors in operation method complexity, and the tool uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice post-transaction for accurate cost reporting rather than relying on the pre-EIP-1559 gasPrice cap. Stream status, pause duration, and billing dates are displayed prominently, enabling informed subscription management decisions.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the subscription contract or stream contract is legitimate or has not been compromised. It cannot detect if the pause/resume parameters have been manipulated or if the contracts have been upgraded or modified. Pause/resume may not execute at optimal gas price due to network conditions or succeed if the contract is paused or frozen. The tool cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs or insufficient approval. It cannot verify that pause/resume parameters are valid, predict gas prices during congestion, or detect if the operation has been front-run. The tool cannot ensure that the pause/resume will be processed, provide financial, legal, or tax advice, guarantee that billing will be adjusted correctly, verify off-chain subscription details, ensure that all conditions for pause/resume are met, or track pause/resume status outside of the tool. Pausing a subscription may affect billing cycles and accumulated time—understand the contract's pause mechanics before operating.
