HOW TO USE

Connect your Web3 wallet to your preferred L2 network—Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, zkSync Era, or Polygon. Enter the token contract address for the reward tokens. Enter testnet metadata: testnet name (e.g., "Sepolia", "Goerli", "Holesky"), testnet phase (e.g., "Phase 2", "Beta", "Mainnet Prep"), activity type (e.g., "Transactions", "Staking", "Bridge"), and participant tier (e.g., "Gold", "Silver", "Bronze"). Paste or upload your list of participants in the format "address, amount, notes" with one entry per line—amounts are in human-readable token units. The tool parses the list and displays a preview showing each participant, their reward amount, and notes. Review the sender contract address, fee, and contract owner for transparency. Click the distribute testnet rewards button, review the transaction in your wallet, and confirm. The tool executes a batched transfer with testnet metadata attached on your chosen L2, storing each participant's notes on-chain alongside the transfer, along with the testnet name, phase, activity type, and participant tier. After confirmation, all participants receive their testnet rewards, and the distribution metadata is permanently recorded on-chain.

MECHANISM: BATCH TESTNET REWARD DISTRIBUTION WITH ON-CHAIN METADATA

The tool interacts with a specialized BotGentz sender contract deployed on each major L2 that supports a batchTransferERC20WithTestnetMetadata function. This function accepts arrays of participant addresses, reward amounts, and notes, along with testnet name, phase, activity type, and participant tier strings. The contract stores the metadata by emitting events that include all fields, ensuring the metadata is permanently recorded on-chain and searchable via event logs. The tool builds the batch transaction by encoding each participant's address, reward amount, and notes into the appropriate arrays. It reads the fee() function live from the sender contract, checks the sender's token balance and allowance on the selected L2, approves the exact total, and executes the batch transfer. The testnet metadata strings are stored once for the entire batch. The transaction is atomic—either all participants receive their rewards with metadata, or the entire transaction reverts with no partial distributions.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool reads no on-chain data directly. It does not verify that participant addresses are valid, that the testnet program has sufficient token balance, or that the token contract address provided is correct. It cannot guarantee that all transfers will succeed—if one transfer fails due to a blacklisted address, insufficient balance, or any other reason, the entire batch reverts. It cannot account for L2-specific gas mechanics or fee structures. It cannot verify that the testnet metadata is accurate or that participants are eligible for rewards. It cannot provide on-chain dispute resolution or clawback mechanisms. It cannot ensure that metadata is indexed or searchable. It cannot recover from failed transactions or generate reports for failed batches. It cannot verify that the program has sufficient funds or that the rewards comply with governance requirements. It cannot verify that the activity type or participant tier corresponds to actual testnet participation. It cannot verify that participants actually completed testnet tasks or transactions.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool works exclusively on EVM-compatible chains and supports Optimism (10), Arbitrum (42161), Base (8453), zkSync Era (324), and Polygon (137). It requires the user to have sufficient native ETH for gas and sufficient token balance to cover the total amount sent plus the sender contract fee. The user is solely responsible for verifying the token contract address, participant addresses, reward amounts, and testnet metadata before signing. Always test with a small batch first to confirm the setup is correct. Metadata storage consumes additional gas—longer notes will increase transaction costs. The sender contract addresses are hardcoded per chain and are publicly available for verification; no third-party custody is involved; you remain in full control of your wallet and funds at all times. On-chain testnet metadata is public and immutable—do not include sensitive participant information. L2 networks offer significantly lower gas costs than Ethereum L1, making this tool particularly cost-effective for large testnet reward distributions.
