About this app
WHAT IT DOES
This userscript transforms your Ticketmaster waiting room experience with real-time queue intelligence. It reads your queue position and estimated wait time from the page, calculates the estimated time to reach the front based on current position and movement rate, and displays a comprehensive queue position badge. The badge shows your position number, estimated wait time, and a color-coded status indicator: green for 30 minutes. A progress bar shows how far you are through the queue. A summary panel displays queue movement speed (positions per minute) and total queue size. A one-click refresh button updates the data, and the badge can auto-refresh every 15 seconds. This is invaluable for concertgoers, sports fans, and event attendees who need to know how long they'll be waiting and when they'll reach the front of the ticket queue.
WHERE IT RUNS
The script runs on all Ticketmaster web application pages at *.ticketmaster.com/*, with automatic detection of waiting room pages, queue pages, and any page displaying queue position information. It works across all Ticketmaster interfaces by using multiple selector strategies to find queue position numbers, estimated wait times, event names, and venue information. The script detects dynamic content loading and re-renders the queue badge when the queue page updates. It runs across the entire Ticketmaster domain, ensuring coverage whether you're in the waiting room, the queue, or the ticket selection page.
HOW TO USE
Install the script via the BotGentz extension and navigate to any Ticketmaster event page with a queue or waiting room. The queue position badge will appear automatically, showing your current position, estimated wait time, and a color-coded status indicator. The progress bar shows how far you are through the queue. The summary panel displays queue movement speed (positions per minute) and the total queue size. Use the "Refresh" button to manually update the queue data, or enable auto-refresh for updates every 15 seconds. Use the panel controls to customize your experience: toggle the queue position badge on or off, show or hide the estimated wait time, enable or disable queue movement speed display, show or hide the progress bar, or toggle auto-refresh. The "Copy" button exports the queue summary to your clipboard, and the "Clear queue history" button resets the movement rate calculation history.
THE MECHANISM - QUEUE POSITION EXTRACTION, MOVEMENT RATE CALCULATION, AND REAL-TIME ESTIMATION
This script identifies queue data by scanning the DOM for known Ticketmaster queue elements using a cascading selector strategy. It extracts position from queue position elements (.queue-position, .position-number, .your-position), estimated wait time from wait time elements (.wait-time, .estimated-wait, .queue-wait), and total queue size from total elements. The script stores previous queue position and timestamp in GM_setValue, enabling it to calculate queue movement rate (positions per second) by comparing the current position to the previous position. The estimated time to reach the front is calculated using both the official estimated wait time and the movement rate-based estimate. The badge color is determined by the estimated wait time using user-configurable thresholds. The progress bar is calculated as (total - position) / total × 100%. Auto-refresh uses setInterval to periodically re-fetch queue data and update the badge.
THE PANEL
The control panel appears as a floating, draggable element that you can position anywhere on the Ticketmaster page. Drag by the header to reposition it, and the position is saved per site using GM_setValue so it stays where you left it across sessions. Release the panel near any edge and it snaps into place, keeping your workspace organized. Click the panel header to collapse it into a small bubble showing only the chart emoji (📊), minimizing distraction while keeping controls accessible. Drag from the bubble to restore the full panel. The panel automatically resizes to fit its content and includes all setting toggles, action buttons, and a wait time legend. Press the Escape key to quickly collapse the panel to its minimized state. The panel remains visible across page navigation within Ticketmaster, with the queue badge updating automatically as your queue position changes.
PLEASE NOTE
This script requires the free BotGentz extension to function. It is designed for Ticketmaster users who need to monitor their queue position and wait time. The script reads only visible queue data from the DOM—it does not access Ticketmaster's API, your account credentials, or any sensitive information. All settings (badge visibility, wait time toggle, speed toggle, progress toggle, auto-refresh toggle, and panel position) are stored locally using GM_setValue and never leave your browser. The script does not modify your Ticketmaster data—it only reads and visualizes visible queue information. The movement rate calculation requires at least two data points to be meaningful; the first few seconds may show limited data. Auto-refresh updates the badge every 15 seconds; this can be disabled to reduce resource usage. If Ticketmaster updates its website structure, the script may need to be updated to match new selectors.
