WHAT IT DOES

The Token Time-Lock Withdrawer enables beneficiaries to withdraw unlocked tokens from time-lock contracts. Time-locks are used for token vesting, team allocations, investor lockups, and governance token distribution, where tokens become available only after a specified period. This tool provides a streamlined interface to withdraw tokens from time-locks with configurable amounts and beneficiary verification.

The tool reads timelock contract state, lock state, token balances, lock parameters, beneficiary addresses, unlock timestamp, lock status, and vested amount. It supports withdrawing unlocked tokens from time-locks with configurable amounts (or all available tokens). The tool verifies that the caller is the beneficiary and that the lock has matured before allowing withdrawal.

HOW TO USE

1. Connect your wallet using the Connect button. The tool automatically detects your connected address and network.

2. Select the network where your timelock contract is deployed using the network dropdown.

3. Enter the timelock contract address, the lock ID, and the token address to receive.

4. Enter the amount to withdraw (enter 0 for all available tokens).

5. Configure your slippage tolerance percentage for the withdrawal.

6. Click "Load lock" to verify the lock exists and check the lock details.

7. Review the lock details in the preview panel including contract, lock ID, token, beneficiary, locked amount, vested amount, and unlock timestamp.

8. Click "Withdraw from Timelock" to submit the withdrawal transaction through your wallet.

9. The tool will verify beneficiary eligibility and execute the withdrawal.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool interacts with the timelock contract's withdrawal function, which typically takes the lock ID and amount as parameters. Before withdrawing, the tool reads the lock state to verify that the caller is the beneficiary and that the current block timestamp is greater than the unlock timestamp (lock has matured). It also checks that the requested amount does not exceed the vested amount. The withdrawal function then transfers the specified amount of tokens from the contract to the beneficiary and updates the lock state to reflect the reduced vested amount. The tool applies slippage protection and records the withdrawal in history with the transaction hash and amount.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the price feed is accurate or reliable; it relies on the timelock contract's internal state. It cannot detect if the oracle has been compromised or manipulated. It cannot ensure that timelock withdrawal will execute at the optimal price due to slippage, market volatility, and block timing. It cannot guarantee that withdrawal will succeed if the timelock contract is paused or if the lock has not fully matured. It cannot verify that the timelock contract has not been upgraded or modified. It cannot detect if the withdrawal path is optimal or if the transaction is being front-run by malicious actors. It cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs, insufficient approvals, out-of-gas errors, or blockchain reorgs. It cannot verify that the beneficiary address is legitimate or not. It cannot predict market movements, price gaps, or flash crashes that may affect withdrawal value. It cannot guarantee execution during extreme network congestion, high gas prices, or volatile market conditions. It cannot detect if the underlying timelock protocol has been compromised. It cannot prevent the user from canceling or modifying withdrawal parameters through other interfaces. It cannot ensure that withdrawal is economically optimal or that gas costs do not exceed the withdrawal value. It cannot guarantee that the lock has fully matured or that the beneficiary is eligible to withdraw.
