WHAT IT DOES

USPS Web Package Redelivery Scheduler reads package tracking status and redelivery availability from USPS tracking pages and displays a floating redelivery scheduler showing eligible packages for redelivery. The badge shows the number of eligible packages out of total packages, a list of eligible tracking numbers, and available redelivery dates. The extension tracks redelivery request history per account, storing each request status change with a timestamp. When packages become eligible for redelivery, a desktop notification is triggered. The panel displays your eligible packages, tracking numbers, available redelivery dates, and request history.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension works on all USPS pages at usps.com and its subdomains, specifically on tracking pages and package status pages where redelivery information is displayed. It runs on the tracking page, the package status page, the redelivery page, and any page displaying package information. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not access USPS servers directly—it reads only what is visible on the page you are viewing. It works alongside the free BotGentz extension, which provides the necessary scripting environment.

HOW TO USE

Install the extension, then navigate to usps.com and open your tracking or package status page. The extension automatically creates a floating redelivery scheduler badge on the page. Click the extension's icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings panel. Use the "Show Overlay" / "Hide Overlay" button to toggle the badge visibility. The badge shows your eligible packages, tracking numbers, and available dates. Use the "Refresh" button to manually update the badge with the latest package information. The "Show completed requests" toggle controls whether completed requests appear. The "Eligibility notifications" toggle controls desktop notifications when packages become eligible for redelivery. Adjust the overlay transparency using the opacity dropdown (70%, 82%, 92%, or 100%). Drag the badge by clicking and holding anywhere inside it. Resize it by dragging the bottom-right corner. Close the badge with the × button.

PACKAGE STATUS EXTRACTION WITH REDELIVERY ELIGIBILITY DETECTION AND DATE TRACKING

Unlike simple tracking display tools, this extension uses a multi-selector extraction engine to find package items, tracking status, and redelivery availability from USPS's varying page structures. It searches for package items using multiple selector patterns (.package-item, .tracking-item, .delivery-item) and falls back to text parsing. Redelivery eligibility is detected using status elements and keyword matching (available, eligible, redelivery). Redelivery dates are extracted from date-related elements using date parsing. Request status is tracked using status keywords (requested, scheduled). Per-account redelivery history is stored as a key-value object where keys are account IDs and values are arrays of request records with timestamps, limited to 20 entries per account. Eligibility notifications trigger when packages become eligible for redelivery, with a once-per-day cooldown.

THE PANEL

The panel supports drag-to-move anywhere on the page. It remembers its position per site, so it stays where you placed it on usps.com. Click the panel header to collapse it down to just the minimized bubble, or click the expand handle to show the full panel. The panel can be resized by dragging the bottom-right corner. Press the Escape key to close the expanded panel and return to the minimized state. All panel settings, including position, size, collapsed state, opacity, completed requests visibility, notification preference, and redelivery history, are saved per site and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed and active, as it provides the underlying DOM injection and script execution environment. USPS's website changes periodically, and package element structures, class names, and page layouts may be updated. When that happens, the extension may stop detecting package data until an update is released. The extension stores your overlay position, size, opacity, visibility, completed requests preference, notification preference, and redelivery history locally in your browser's storage using GM_setValue. Redelivery history is stored as a key-value object where keys are account IDs and values are arrays of request records. The package status displayed is read from the page—the extension does not access USPS internal tracking data. Always verify with USPS directly for the most accurate package status and redelivery information. No data is ever sent to any server, and no personal information is collected. You can clear all stored settings at any time by clearing your browser data for usps.com.
