About this app

WHAT IT DOES

This tool evaluates variable-rate yield tranche purchase readiness for DeFi investors, helping users determine if they can purchase tranche tokens to earn variable yields based on changing market conditions. Given a tranche contract address, a token address, an optional tranche ID, and a purchase amount, it reads the tranche's current variable yield rate, volatility metric, maturity date, total supply, active status, purchase price, accrued yield for the user, and the user's token balance and allowance. It also retrieves historical yield data to display a visual trend chart and calculates rate volatility to help users understand the risk of rate fluctuations. The tool then determines purchase readiness—Active (ready to purchase), Matured, Inactive, Pending (conditions not met), or Unknown. It displays a visual yield bar showing the current variable rate, a volatility indicator, a historical yield trend chart, a detailed breakdown of purchase readiness factors (token balance sufficient, allowance sufficient, tranche active, not matured, canPurchase true), and all relevant addresses with block explorer links. All data is pulled directly from the blockchain in real time, providing a transparent view before any purchase transaction.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the Connect button in the header. Select the target network from the dropdown—Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum One, Base, or Sepolia testnet. Enter the variable-rate yield tranche contract address, the token address used for purchases, and the purchase amount in human-readable format. Optionally, provide a tranche ID to view specific tranche details; if omitted, the tool will show the total number of tranches available. Click "Check tranche." The tool will fetch the tranche parameters, current variable rate, volatility, maturity date, total supply, active status, purchase price, accrued yield, historical yields, and your token balance and allowance. Results appear in the card below with a prominent purchase readiness badge, a visual yield bar, volatility indicator, historical yield trend chart, detailed tranche information, and a breakdown of readiness factors with checkmarks or crosses. Use this information to decide whether to purchase a variable-rate yield tranche.

VARIABLE-RATE YIELD TRANCHE VERIFICATION WITH HISTORICAL ANALYSIS

The tool provides comprehensive variable-rate yield tranche verification through multiple on-chain reads. First, it calls getTranche() to retrieve the current variable rate (expressed in basis points), maturity date, total supply, and active status for the specified tranche ID. It then calls getCurrentYield() to get the current yield rate and getRateVolatility() to obtain a volatility metric that helps users understand the rate's historical fluctuation range. The purchase price is determined via getPurchasePrice(), which calculates the cost in the underlying token for a given tranche amount. For the connected wallet, the tool calls getAccruedYield() to show any yield already accumulated. The canPurchase() function verifies that all conditions are met—sufficient balance, allowance, tranche active, not matured, and any other contract-specific requirements. The tool also calls getHistoricalYield() with a lookback period to retrieve up to 10 historical yield data points, which are displayed as a compact trend chart for visual reference. The tool also reads the user's token balance and allowance for the tranche contract to ensure sufficient funds for the purchase. All factors are combined to provide a clear, actionable purchase readiness status with visual indicators for the variable rate and its volatility.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot guarantee yield returns—variable rates fluctuate based on market conditions, protocol changes, and other factors that cannot be predicted. It cannot predict future interest rate movements or ensure that the variable rate will remain at current levels. It cannot verify off-chain yield conditions or ensure that the yield source is reliable. It cannot ensure tranche liquidity, particularly for large purchases that may move the market. It cannot detect yield manipulation risks, including oracle manipulation, rate manipulation, or other attacks. It cannot assure that the tranche contract is free from vulnerabilities, bugs, or malicious code. It cannot verify that the token address is correct or that the tranche ID corresponds to a legitimate tranche. It cannot detect front-running or other execution risks. It cannot provide financial advice or guarantee that purchasing a variable-rate tranche is profitable. All data is provided as-is for informational purposes only; any reliance on the tool's output for investment decisions is the sole responsibility of the user.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool supports EVM-compatible chains only: Ethereum Mainnet (1), Polygon (137), Optimism (10), Arbitrum One (42161), Base (8453), and Sepolia testnet (11155111). Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and XRP are not supported. The tool requires a Web3 provider (MetaMask or WalletConnect) and access to an RPC endpoint for the selected chain. It does not store any wallet data, token addresses, or tranche records. All queries are performed directly against the blockchain in real time. The tool does not execute purchases—it only provides read-only information. Variable rates and yields are contract-defined values and do not guarantee actual returns. Historical yield data is provided for informational purposes only and does not predict future performance. Always verify critical data independently through a block explorer and consult with financial advisors before making any investment decisions.
