WHAT IT DOES

Vault Deposit-Withdraw Route Switcher watches the current Yearn vault page for the vault address, reads the user's current deposit position and available withdrawal routes, compares deposit and withdrawal gas costs across different routing options (direct vs. zap vs. aggregator), calculates the optimal route based on current gas prices and protocol fees, and displays a route recommendation with comparative cost analysis. The tool extracts the vault address from the URL, queries the vault contract for the user's share balance via balanceOf, reads the underlying token address and decimals, fetches the price per share, and calculates the user's current position value. It then evaluates multiple routing options including direct deposit/withdrawal, zap routes that handle token conversion, aggregator routes that split across multiple sources, and strategy-specific routes, calculating gas estimates, protocol fees, safety scores, and speed ratings for each option.

WHERE IT RUNS

The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on Yearn vault pages at https://app.yearn.fi/vault/*. It works on any Yearn vault page where the vault address is visible in the URL path. The tool connects directly to your real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any wallet injecting window.ethereum) to read on-chain data via eth_call. No data is sent to any external server — all reads happen directly from the Ethereum blockchain through your wallet provider.

HOW TO USE

Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to any Yearn vault page, and open the Vault Deposit-Withdraw Route Switcher panel. Select your preferred route priority from the dropdown — Cost, Speed, or Safety — to control how routes are ranked. Set your maximum acceptable gas cost in ETH. Toggle "Auto-analyze on page load" if you want the tool to run automatically when you open the panel. Click "Analyze Routes" — the tool reads the vault address from the URL, queries your wallet for your current vault position, evaluates four different routing options (Direct, Zap, Aggregator, and Strategy Route), calculates gas costs and protocol fees for each, applies your priority preference, and displays a complete comparison with a clear recommendation. Review the results and use the recommended route for manual execution through the Yearn interface.

MECHANISM — VAULT ROUTE EVALUATION WITH MULTI-DIMENSIONAL SCORING

This tool uses a multi-dimensional route evaluation engine that scores each available route based on cost, speed, and safety metrics. The system first reads the vault address from the page URL, then uses ethers to create a Web3Provider connected to window.ethereum. It queries the vault contract using balanceOf to read the user's share balance, token() to get the underlying token address, decimals() to determine token precision, and pricePerShare() to calculate the conversion rate. The tool evaluates four standard route types: Direct (simple vault interaction with lowest gas but limited features), Zap (automated token conversion with moderate gas and flexibility), Aggregator (splits across multiple sources with highest gas but best execution), and Strategy Route (vault-specific optimized path with balanced characteristics). Each route is scored using a weighted algorithm: cost score is based on total cost (gas + fees), speed score reflects transaction time expectations, and safety score reflects contract risk and audit status. The scoring weights are adjusted based on the user's priority preference, and the highest-scoring route is recommended alongside a complete comparative breakdown.

THE PANEL

The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing the Yearn interface. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit a vault page. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your vault management workflow.

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (such as MetaMask) already installed in your browser. EVM chains only — currently supports Ethereum mainnet and compatible networks. This is an analysis and comparison tool only — it does not execute deposit or withdrawal transactions. The tool cannot guarantee that the optimal route remains optimal at the time of user execution due to changing gas prices. It cannot account for slippage or protocol changes during the transaction. It cannot read private route availability from protocols not exposed on-chain. It cannot predict future gas price movements or optimal timing. All blockchain reads are performed directly through your wallet provider; no data is stored or transmitted beyond your browser.
