About this app

WHAT IT DOES

This tool connects to your MetaMask wallet and scans for NFTs (ERC-721 and ERC-1155 tokens) owned by your address on the current network. It queries token balances, fetches metadata (name, symbol, tokenURI), and displays your NFTs in a visual gallery with image previews, collection names, and token IDs. The tool supports filtering by contract address or token ID, and works across multiple EVM networks including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, Avalanche, and Base. All processing happens locally — nothing is sent to any server.

HOW TO USE

Connect your MetaMask wallet using the Connect button. Select the network you want to scan (the tool uses your current network). Optionally, enter a contract address to filter by a specific collection, or enter a token ID to find a specific NFT. Click "Scan NFTs" to begin scanning. The tool will query your wallet balance for known NFT collections and display any NFTs found in a gallery view. Each NFT card shows the image, name, collection, and token ID. Use "Clear Results" to reset the view.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool uses the BGWallet bridge to get the connected wallet address and provider. It then queries ERC-721 and ERC-1155 contracts using ethers.js. For each collection, it calls balanceOf(address) to determine how many tokens the wallet holds, then iterates through token IDs (up to a limit) to fetch tokenURI metadata. The tool includes a built-in catalog of well-known NFT collections on each supported network, but also allows users to specify custom contract addresses. For each token, it fetches the tokenURI, attempts to parse the metadata (which may be stored on IPFS, Arweave, or centralized servers), and extracts the name, description, and image URL. IPFS URLs are automatically routed through public IPFS gateways. The gallery displays the NFTs with the image preview, collection name, and token ID, with fallback placeholders for missing images.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot view NFTs on networks not supported by the configured RPC endpoint. It cannot view NFTs that are not indexed or not accessible via standard tokenURI patterns. It cannot display NFT images that are hosted on IPFS or centralized servers that may be unavailable. It cannot detect NFTs in wallets that have not been connected or are not the current active wallet. It cannot view NFTs that were transferred using non-standard methods (e.g., ERC-721 transfers without the standard Transfer event). It cannot verify the authenticity or rarity of NFTs. It cannot view NFTs on non-EVM networks like Solana or Bitcoin. It cannot fetch NFTs from collections not in the built-in catalog unless you specify the contract address. The tool cannot detect NFTs held in smart contracts or multi-sig wallets that are not the connected wallet.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool works only with EVM-compatible wallets connected via the BGWallet bridge. NFT scanning is rate-limited by the RPC provider — scanning large collections may take time or hit rate limits. The built-in collection catalog is not exhaustive — you can enter a custom contract address to scan any ERC-721 or ERC-1155 token. Image loading depends on the availability of the image hosting service — IPFS images may load slower or fail if the gateway is down. This tool is provided as a viewer utility and does not provide price estimates, rarity rankings, or trading functionality. Always verify NFT details directly on the blockchain or through official marketplaces for important decisions.
