Vote Delegation Performance Report Generator

WHAT IT DOES

This tool generates performance reports for vote delegates, helping users evaluate how effectively a delegate has participated in governance. Given a governance contract address and a delegate address, it scans recent proposals to analyze the delegate's voting history—how many proposals they voted on, their support distribution (For, Against, Abstain), participation rate, and voting patterns. It also retrieves the delegate's vote weight history across proposal blocks to identify trends in delegated voting power. The tool then computes a performance score from 0 to 100 based on participation rate and voting consistency, displays key metrics in a clean dashboard with a score bar, vote breakdown, and proposal details table. All data is pulled directly from the blockchain in real time, providing a transparent, data-driven view of delegate performance before users decide to delegate their voting power.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the Connect button in the header. Select the target network from the dropdown—Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum One, Base, or Sepolia testnet. Enter the governance contract address and the delegate address you wish to evaluate. Optionally, adjust the number of proposals to scan (default 50, max 100). Click "Generate report." The tool will scan the specified number of recent proposals, retrieve the delegate's voting record, proposal outcomes, and delegate vote history. Results appear in the card below with a prominent performance score (0–100), a visual score bar, a metrics grid showing proposals voted, participation rate, votes cast, and trend indicator, a detailed vote breakdown (For/Against/Abstain), and a proposal details table showing each proposal's ID, whether the delegate voted, their support choice, and the proposal's status. Use this information to assess delegate performance before making delegation decisions.

PERFORMANCE SCORING WITH PROPOSAL SCAN AND VOTING PATTERN ANALYSIS

The tool provides comprehensive delegate performance analysis through multiple on-chain reads. First, it calls proposalCount() to determine the total number of proposals, then scans backwards from the most recent proposals up to the specified limit. For each proposal, it calls proposals() to retrieve the proposal details—proposer, start and end blocks, execution status, and cancellation status. It then calls getVoter() to check if the delegate voted on that proposal, capturing their vote weight and support choice (0 = Against, 1 = For, 2 = Abstain). The tool also calls getDelegateVotes() at each proposal's end block to track the delegate's voting power over time, enabling trend analysis. The performance score combines participation rate (60% weight) with a consistency factor (40% weight). The tool also displays the delegate's vote history trend—Growing, Declining, or Stable—based on changes in delegated vote weight over time. All data is aggregated into a comprehensive report with detailed metrics and a proposal-by-proposal breakdown.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot guarantee performance accuracy—on-chain data may be incomplete or subject to indexing delays. It cannot predict future voting outcomes or ensure that a delegate will continue to perform at the same level. It cannot verify off-chain governance conditions or ensure that the delegate is reliable or aligned with the user's interests. It cannot detect manipulation risks, including vote buying, collusion, or other governance attacks. It cannot assure that the governance contract is free from vulnerabilities, bugs, or malicious code. It cannot verify that the delegate address is correct or that the governance contract is the one intended. It cannot provide financial or governance advice or guarantee that delegating to a high-scoring delegate is the right decision. All data is provided as-is for informational purposes only; any reliance on the tool's output for delegation decisions is the sole responsibility of the user.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool supports EVM-compatible chains only: Ethereum Mainnet (1), Polygon (137), Optimism (10), Arbitrum One (42161), Base (8453), and Sepolia testnet (11155111). Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and XRP are not supported. The tool requires a Web3 provider (MetaMask or WalletConnect) and access to an RPC endpoint for the selected chain. It does not store any wallet data, delegate addresses, or report records. All queries are performed directly against the blockchain in real time. The tool only provides read-only information and does not execute any transactions. Performance scores are heuristics based on on-chain participation and do not guarantee delegate quality. Always verify critical data independently through a block explorer and consult with governance advisors before making delegation decisions.
