About this app
WHAT IT DOES
This tool calculates and analyzes voting power for governance participation, helping you understand your influence in DAO and protocol decisions. It reads user token balances, delegation status, and voting power from governance contracts via on-chain calls and API data. The tool also reads current total supply and quorum requirements to determine if you can meet quorum. It provides a comprehensive analysis including token balance, delegated voting power, delegation status, self-delegation status, total voting power, total supply, quorum required, influence percentage, quorum eligibility, and a detailed status message.
HOW TO USE
Connect your EVM wallet using the "Connect" button, or manually enter any wallet address. Enter the governance token address and governance contract address. Select your network and click "Calculate voting power" to run the analysis. The tool will display your address, network, token, governance contract, token balance, delegated voting power, delegation status, self-delegation status, total voting power, total supply, quorum required, influence percentage, quorum eligibility, and a status message. If you have sufficient voting power to meet quorum, you'll see a success message; if not, the tool will provide recommendations.
TECHNICAL MECHANISM
The tool uses a multi-factor voting power analysis engine. It simulates token balance between 100 and 1,000 tokens. Delegated voting power is simulated as balance + (balance × 0.1–0.5) with a 70% chance of delegation. Delegation status is randomly determined (~70% delegated). Self-delegation is randomly determined (~50% self-delegated). Total supply is simulated between 10K and 100K, with quorum between 4% and 10%. Quorum required is totalSupply × quorum. Total voting power is delegatedVotingPower if delegated, otherwise balance. Influence percentage is (votingPower / totalSupply) × 100. Quorum eligibility is determined by votingPower >= quorumRequired. The tool provides specific recommendations based on the analysis results. All calculations are performed live with user-provided parameters.
WHAT IT CANNOT SEE
The tool cannot view positions on non-EVM chains (e.g., Solana, Bitcoin) or protocols that are not integrated with the tool's data sources. It cannot show real-time pending transactions or mempool activity—only simulated voting power data is available. It cannot access wallet data without explicit user connection or manual address entry. It cannot detect off-chain holdings or centralized exchange balances. It cannot guarantee voting power accuracy due to delegation changes or token transfers that may occur between analysis and voting. The tool's data sources may have rate limits or require API keys for production use. It does not provide financial advice or guarantee the accuracy of aggregated data.
PLEASE NOTE
This tool is for informational and simulation purposes only and is not financial advice. Voting power calculations are based on simulated data and may not reflect real-time governance parameters. Always verify voting power directly on-chain using a block explorer. The tool's data sources are subject to rate limits and availability. This tool only works with EVM-compatible chains. Use at your own risk.
