WHAT THE REGION CHANGES

When you switch regions, the app updates your apparent location for services that respect region signals, affecting:

• Localized content delivery: Websites and services adjust the content they show you based on your claimed region, including regional homepages, featured stories, and locally relevant information.

• Regional pricing displays: Many e-commerce and service platforms show prices in local currency with region-specific pricing structures, including VAT, taxes, and country-specific fees.

• Language preferences: Content is displayed in the local language or regional variant (e.g., US English, UK English, French, German) with region-specific terminology, phrasing, and cultural context.

• Search results: Search engines and platform search features may prioritize results relevant to the selected region, including local businesses, regional news, and country-specific content.

HOW TO USE

1. Open the app panel over any website or use it in full-screen mode.

2. The current region is displayed in the header chip with its flag and label.

3. Tap the "Change" button to select a new region from the list of available countries.

4. If your browser asks to reload the page, choose "Reload" to apply the new region preference. If you select "Never," the app will still remember your choice and continue to function correctly, but the underlying page may not reflect the change until you manually refresh.

5. The Consistency Check shows how your browser signals (timezone, language, currency format) compare to the claimed region, helping you identify potential mismatches.

WHAT IT CANNOT DO

This app cannot bypass geographic content restrictions on its own—it only signals a region preference to BotSurf, which must handle the actual routing. It does not guarantee access to all region-locked content, does not affect connection speeds or streaming quality, and cannot access content not available in the target region. It also cannot change the region for platforms that use other geolocation methods, nor can it unlock content that is not available in the target region. The app does not circumvent VPN detection measures employed by individual services, which may still block traffic even with a valid region signal, and it does not make users anonymous.
