About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Wallet Activity Export for Taxes is your comprehensive tax reporting tool that extracts and exports all your wallet transaction data for tax preparation. It watches DEX swap pages, NFT marketplaces, and transaction history pages, detecting transaction data including swap details, NFT purchases/sales, and token transfers. The tool extracts complete transaction records with timestamps, amounts, token types, prices, and gas costs, then formats the data for tax reporting with categorized income/expense tracking. It exports data in CSV, JSON, and tax-specific formats, supports multiple tax year filtering and transaction type classification, and maintains persistent transaction history across sessions.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script runs on all major DEX interfaces including Uniswap (app.uniswap.org), SushiSwap (app.sushi.com), Curve (curve.fi), Balancer (balancer.fi), 1inch (1inch.io), CowSwap (cow.fi), major NFT marketplaces including OpenSea (opensea.io), Blur (blur.io), LooksRare (looksrare.org), Zora (zora.co), Rarible (rarible.com), Foundation (foundation.app), and Etherscan (etherscan.io). It works on swap pages, NFT listings, transaction history pages, and any page displaying transaction data.

HOW TO USE

Install the script through the BotGentz userscript manager. Click "Connect Wallet" to link your EVM wallet extension for transaction enrichment. Navigate to any supported page showing transaction history or activity. Click "Capture Transactions" to scan the page and extract all visible transaction data. The tool automatically enriches transactions with receipt details via your wallet connection. Select your tax year (default current year) and export format (CSV, JSON, or Tax Report). Click "Export Transactions" to copy formatted data to your clipboard. The panel displays transaction count, total volume, gas costs, and category breakdown. Use auto-capture for continuous transaction collection as you browse.

DOM-BASED TRANSACTION EXTRACTION ENGINE WITH TAX CATEGORIZATION

Unlike portfolio trackers that require API access, this tool implements a comprehensive DOM-based transaction extraction engine that parses transaction data directly from the pages you visit. The engine uses adaptive selectors to detect transaction rows, extracting amounts, token symbols, prices, dates, and hashes. Each transaction is enriched with on-chain data via RPC calls to the connected wallet, adding gas costs, status, and block details. The tax categorization system classifies transactions into eight categories (Swap, NFT Purchase, NFT Sale, Transfer, Deposit, Withdrawal, Claim, Mint) using pattern matching on page text. The export engine supports three formats: CSV for spreadsheet analysis, JSON for machine-readable archives, and a specialized Tax Report format that includes categorized summaries with total buy/sell volumes, gas costs, and transaction counts by category, all filtered by the selected tax year.

THE PANEL

The floating panel is fully draggable and snap-to-edge enabled. You can collapse it to a compact bubble when not in use, resize it to your preferred dimensions, and it remembers its position across page loads using persistent storage. Press Escape to quickly dismiss the panel. The panel displays wallet address, tax year, transaction count, total volume, total gas cost, category breakdown, and recent transactions.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed in your browser—it does not run as a standalone extension. You also need a real EVM wallet extension already installed and configured for transaction enrichment. The tool cannot access transaction data beyond what is displayed on the page and relies on the page exposing transaction details in a detectable format. Export formats are limited to what the tool can parse from available page data. No user data is collected or transmitted—all transaction history stays local in your browser storage. The tool provides tax reporting assistance but does not constitute financial or tax advice.
