WHAT IT DOES

WalletConnect V2 Bridge is a session management tool for the WalletConnect V2 protocol. It provides a graphical interface for connecting to dApps via WalletConnect pairing URIs, viewing active sessions, and managing connections. The tool displays session information including peer dApp name, topic, expiry time, and supported chains. It allows you to disconnect individual sessions or terminate all connections at once. All session activity is logged in the output panel for visibility and debugging.

HOW TO USE

Install the app through the BotSurf interface. Click Connect to link your EVM wallet via the BGWallet bridge. Obtain a WalletConnect V2 pairing URI from a dApp (usually displayed as a QR code or link). Paste the URI into the input field and click "Connect". The tool simulates the connection and displays the new session in the sessions list. Each session card shows the dApp name, session topic, expiry time, and supported chains. Use the "Disconnect" button on any session to terminate that connection, or use "Disconnect All" to end all sessions. The output panel shows connection events and status updates.

WALLETCONNECT V2 SESSION BRIDGE WITH PEER MANAGEMENT

The tool interfaces with the BGWallet bridge to manage WalletConnect V2 sessions. It accepts pairing URIs in the wc: format, then simulates the connection handshake by generating a session with peer metadata. Each session maintains a unique topic identifier, peer information (name, URL, description), expiry timestamp, and namespace configuration including supported chains, methods, and events. The session management engine allows you to view all active sessions with their current status, disconnect individual sessions by topic, or terminate all sessions at once. The tool maintains session state in memory and provides a clean interface for reviewing and managing multiple WalletConnect connections simultaneously. All operations are logged with timestamps for debugging and transparency.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot initiate WalletConnect sessions without a valid pairing URI from a dApp. It relies on the WalletConnect V2 relay server being available and accessible; if the relay server is down or unreachable, connections will fail. It cannot interact with wallets that do not support the WalletConnect V2 protocol or are not connected to the BGWallet bridge. The tool is limited to EVM-compatible chains and cannot establish sessions for non-EVM chains. It cannot recover sessions without the session topic—once a session is lost, a new pairing URI is required. Some dApps may not support the WalletConnect V2 protocol or may use a different version. The tool does not handle transaction signing or request handling—it only manages session state.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the BotSurf interface and a connected EVM wallet via the BGWallet bridge. The current implementation is a simulation of WalletConnect V2 functionality. For production use, the WalletConnect V2 SDK would need to be integrated for actual session establishment and transaction signing. Always verify dApp identities before connecting and only use pairing URIs from trusted sources.
