WHAT IT DOES

Whale Wallet Activity Alert watches specified whale wallet addresses, reads their native token balances and ERC-20 token balances from the blockchain via eth_call at regular intervals, and triggers alerts when a whale wallet's balance crosses a user-defined threshold (e.g., buys or sells a significant amount), with detailed transaction monitoring for large transfers. It helps you track market-moving activity by large holders in real-time.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a userscript within the BotGentz extension framework, running directly in your browser on any website. It works on any EVM-compatible blockchain page—Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and more—where wallet addresses and tokens exist. The tool integrates seamlessly into your workflow, appearing as a draggable panel that stays accessible as you monitor whale activity.

HOW TO USE

Add the whale wallet addresses you want to monitor in the "Whale Watchlist" section (comma-separated). Optionally, add a specific token address to track token balances as well. Configure your alert settings: set the ETH balance threshold that triggers alerts, choose the refresh interval, toggle transaction monitoring on or off, and toggle desktop notifications on or off. Click "Start Whale Monitoring" to connect your real wallet extension, which will begin checking whale balances and activity. The panel displays current balances for all watched whales, with indicators showing whether they are above or below the threshold. Use "Refresh Now" for an immediate update, "Clear Whale History" to reset tracking, or "Stop Monitoring" to disconnect.

TECHNICAL OPERATION

Whale Wallet Activity Alert uses raw JSON-RPC calls via window.ethereum.request() to interact with the blockchain—no external library required for basic operations. It loads ethers at runtime using a simple script tag injection for ABI encoding and contract interactions. The tool resolves ENS names to addresses using the ENS resolver when provided. It reads native token balances using provider.getBalance and ERC-20 token balances using the balanceOf view function. The tool stores previous balances and calculates both absolute and percentage changes. When a whale's balance crosses the user-defined threshold (from below to above or vice versa), it triggers a desktop notification and panel flash. The tool also monitors the block number for changes and can detect transaction activity when enabled, highlighting significant transfers. The whale list display shows color-coded status indicators for each address.

THE PANEL

The Whale Wallet Activity Alert panel is fully draggable and remembers its position between sessions using GM_setValue. It snaps to the edge of the viewport for a clean interface and can be collapsed to a small icon when not in use. The panel is resizable to accommodate longer content. Press Escape to quickly close or collapse the panel. The design is optimized for productivity with a dark theme, clear visual hierarchy, and responsive controls that adapt to your workflow.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension installed in your browser and a real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) already installed. EVM chains only—this does not work on non-EVM blockchains. The tool cannot read balances if the blockchain RPC is unavailable, cannot detect off-chain wallet activity, cannot resolve ENS names if the ENS resolver is not accessible, cannot detect token balances for tokens that do not expose the required view functions, and cannot monitor transactions that are not yet confirmed. No private keys are stored or transmitted—all data is read-only from the blockchain. Always verify the whale addresses before starting monitoring.
