About this app

WHAT IT DOES

World of Hyatt Web Suite Upgrade Tracker reads suite upgrade status and availability from World of Hyatt booking pages and displays a floating suite upgrade tracker showing your current upgrade eligibility and available suite nights. The badge shows your upgrade status—Eligible, Available, or Not Eligible—with color coding: green for eligible, blue for available, and gray for not eligible. A certificate counter shows the number of suite upgrade certificates remaining. The extension tracks upgrade usage history per year, storing certificates remaining and eligibility status with timestamps. When a suite upgrade becomes available, a desktop notification is triggered. The panel displays your current year's upgrade history and certificate changes.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension works on all Hyatt pages at hyatt.com and its subdomains, specifically on booking pages and account pages where suite upgrade status is displayed. It runs on the main booking page, the room selection page, the account dashboard, and any page displaying upgrade information. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not access Hyatt's servers directly—it reads only what is visible on the page you are viewing. It works alongside the free BotGentz extension, which provides the necessary scripting environment.

HOW TO USE

Install the extension, then navigate to hyatt.com and log in to your account. The extension automatically creates a floating suite upgrade tracker badge on the page. Click the extension's icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings panel. Use the "Show Overlay" / "Hide Overlay" button to toggle the badge visibility. The badge shows your upgrade status and certificates remaining. Use the "Refresh" button to manually update the badge with the latest upgrade information. The "Show detailed info" toggle controls whether tier and property details appear. The "Upgrade notifications" toggle controls desktop notifications when upgrades become available. Adjust the overlay transparency using the opacity dropdown (70%, 82%, 92%, or 100%). Drag the badge by clicking and holding anywhere inside it. Resize it by dragging the bottom-right corner. Close the badge with the × button.

SUITE UPGRADE STATUS EXTRACTION WITH CERTIFICATE TRACKING AND NOTIFICATION

Unlike simple status display tools, this extension uses a multi-selector extraction engine to find suite upgrade status, certificates remaining, and tier information from Hyatt's varying page structures. It searches for upgrade eligibility using multiple selector patterns (.suite-upgrade-status, .upgrade-eligible, .status-indicator) and falls back to text parsing with keyword detection (eligible, available, not eligible, unavailable). Certificates remaining are extracted from certificate selectors using number parsing. Total available certificates are extracted from total selectors. Per-year upgrade history is stored as a key-value object where keys are year strings and values are arrays of upgrade records with timestamps, limited to 20 entries per year. Upgrade availability notifications trigger when eligibility status changes or certificates become available, with a once-per-day cooldown.

THE PANEL

The panel supports drag-to-move anywhere on the page. It remembers its position per site, so it stays where you placed it on hyatt.com. Click the panel header to collapse it down to just the minimized bubble, or click the expand handle to show the full panel. The panel can be resized by dragging the bottom-right corner. Press the Escape key to close the expanded panel and return to the minimized state. All panel settings, including position, size, collapsed state, opacity, detailed info visibility, notification preference, and per-year upgrade history, are saved per site and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed and active, as it provides the underlying DOM injection and script execution environment. Hyatt's website changes periodically, and upgrade element structures, class names, and page layouts may be updated. When that happens, the extension may stop detecting upgrade data until an update is released. The extension stores your overlay position, size, opacity, visibility, detailed info preference, notification preference, and per-year upgrade history locally in your browser's storage using GM_setValue. Upgrade history is stored as a key-value object where keys are year strings and values are arrays of upgrade records. The upgrade status displayed is read from the page—the extension does not access Hyatt's internal upgrade data. Always verify with Hyatt directly for the most accurate suite upgrade information. No data is ever sent to any server, and no personal information is collected. You can clear all stored settings at any time by clearing your browser data for hyatt.com.
