WHAT IT DOES

Yearn Vault Manager provides direct, non-custodial access to Yearn vaults on EVM-compatible blockchains. It enables vault operations including deposits and withdrawals, strategy management, fee configuration, deposit limit adjustments, and emergency shutdown controls. The tool reads vault contract state, pricePerShare, totalAssets, totalSupply, vault balance, strategy state, withdrawal queue, deposit limit, management fee, performance fee, debt ratio, activation, lastReport, currentAPY, TVL, emergency shutdown state, governance state, registry state, chain ID, block timestamp, and gas price. It writes deposit, withdraw, approve, transfer, withdrawFromStrategy, earn, setManagementFee, setPerformanceFee, setDepositLimit, setEmergencyShutdown, addStrategy, removeStrategy, revokeStrategy, and updateStrategyDebtRatio. All operations are signed and broadcast through your connected wallet — funds never leave your control.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM-compatible wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or similar) using the wallet bridge. Select the network that matches the Yearn vault deployment you wish to use (Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, Fantom, or others). Paste the vault contract address — the tool does not hardcode any address, giving you full control to use official Yearn deployments or fork contracts. Choose your action from the dropdown: deposit, withdraw, withdraw from strategy, earn, set deposit limit, set management fee, set performance fee, set emergency shutdown, add strategy, remove strategy, revoke strategy, or update strategy debt ratio. Enter the token address for deposit/withdraw actions, strategy address for strategy actions, and the amount or fee in basis points. Click Review to verify all parameters before signing. The tool shows a clear summary of the transaction, then signs and broadcasts through your wallet with progress tracking.

HOW IT WORKS UNDER THE HOOD

The tool uses a dynamic gas estimation strategy that adapts to network conditions. Before each transaction, it calls estimateGas on the chosen method with the exact parameters, then adds a 20% buffer to avoid out-of-gas failures. For deposits, the tool approves the token transfer if needed, then calls deposit with the specified amount and recipient address. For withdrawals, it calls withdraw with the share amount and recipient. Strategy management actions call the corresponding vault methods to add, remove, revoke, or update strategy debt ratios. Fee settings update management and performance fees in basis points. The emergency shutdown toggle activates or deactivates the vault's emergency shutdown state. After broadcasting, the tool waits for the transaction receipt using ethers.js wait() with confirmation tracking. It uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice for accurate cost reporting, not tx.gasPrice — critical for post-EIP-1559 networks.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot predict future APY or yield returns; yields depend on market conditions and strategy performance. It cannot verify that the vault strategies are performing as expected or without losses; the tool reads state but does not audit strategy execution. It cannot detect if the vault's strategies have been compromised or are under attack; the tool only reads on-chain state. It cannot guarantee that the management or performance fees will remain at their current levels; fees can be changed through governance or authorized addresses. It cannot predict when strategies will be rebalanced or vault parameters will be updated; rebalancing depends on market conditions and strategy performance. It cannot verify that the underlying strategy contracts are safe or have not been exploited; the tool does not perform security audits.
