You can choose between friendly, professional, humorous, or informative tones, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in YouTube's comment section.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying YouTube video titles, descriptions, and comments. Common sources include YouTube watch pages and any page where YouTube comments are embedded.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any YouTube video page that displays a video title, description, and the comment you want to reply to. Open the BotGentz extension and select YouTube Comment Reply Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Optionally, enter your display name and any custom instructions. Select your preferred tone (friendly, professional, humorous, or informative) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Reply" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the video and comment content and sends it along with your tone preference to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a thoughtful, appropriate reply draft in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in YouTube's comment section.

TECHNICAL SECTION — YOUTUBE CONTENT AND CONTEXT EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on YouTube video and comment communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing YouTube indicators such as "video," "title," "description," "comment," "reply," "channel," "creator," and "viewer." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the video data and surrounding structural markers (video titles, channel names, comment text, reply threads). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a YouTube context using features like YouTube language frequency ("video," "channel," "subscribe," "like," "comment"), comment patterns, and engagement markers. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into three core categories: the video context (title and description), the comment content, and the tone indicators. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (display name, tone, and custom instructions), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a thoughtful reply that engages with the commenter's point, matches the chosen tone, and adds value to the conversation, reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated comment replies are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness before posting, as interpretations may occasionally miss comment nuances or misread the video context. Websites change their YouTube page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your display name and preferences are stored locally in your browser and are only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
