The script reads quote data from the page—including company names, monthly and annual premiums, deductibles, coverage amounts, policy types, and financial strength ratings—then applies color-coded highlighting to make the best deals stand out. Green highlights indicate the most competitive prices, yellow marks mid-range quotes, and red flags higher-priced options. Smart badges automatically identify the lowest price quote, the best value based on price-to-rating ratio, and recommended picks. Price difference markers show exactly how much each quote costs compared to the lowest option, both as a percentage and dollar amount. Annual totals are calculated and displayed alongside monthly premiums for full cost visibility.

This script operates on all major insurance comparison sites including The Zebra, Policygenius, Insurify, Credible, Quote.com, Netquote, InsuranceQuotes.com, and ValuePenguin. It works on quote result pages, provider lists, and insurance comparison tables. The script automatically detects which site you're on and applies the appropriate extraction strategy for that platform's specific layout.

HOW TO USE

After installing through the BotGentz extension, navigate to any insurance comparison site and perform a quote search. The script automatically scans the results and applies highlights and badges. Use the configuration panel to customize your experience: toggle the lowest price highlight on or off, show or hide price difference markers, enable recommended badges, control color-coding by price, and set a price difference threshold to automatically hide uncompetitive quotes. The panel displays real-time statistics showing total quotes, number with prices, price range, and count of rated quotes. Use the "Export Quote Comparison" button to copy all quote data to your clipboard as CSV for spreadsheet analysis.

PLATFORM-ADAPTIVE DATA EXTRACTION WITH FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE

This script implements a specialized extraction engine that adapts to each insurance comparison site's unique HTML structure. The engine maintains distinct selector strategies for eight major platforms, targeting platform-specific elements like ".quote-card" for The Zebra, ".company-card" for Policygenius, and ".quote-item" for Insurify. Beyond basic extraction, the script performs financial intelligence calculations including annual premium projection (monthly × 12), price competitiveness scoring, and best-value ranking using a price-to-rating ratio algorithm. The price difference threshold system lets users filter out quotes that exceed a configurable percentage above the lowest price, helping focus on truly competitive options.

THE PANEL

The configuration panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per-site using GM_setValue. It snaps to screen edges when dragged near them, collapses to a compact bubble when minimized, and supports Escape key for quick collapse. All settings—including highlight preferences, badge visibility, threshold values, and color-coding options—are persisted across sessions.
