About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Printful Bulk Product Price Updater lets you update prices for multiple products in a single operation. Instead of opening each product individually, navigating to the price field, editing the value, and saving — repeating this for every single product — this tool provides a unified checklist of all products on the current page. You can filter products by name or SKU to quickly find the ones you want to update. Select any number of products using checkboxes, choose your adjustment type (Percentage or Fixed amount), enter the adjustment value, and click Update. The tool then automatically processes each selected product — opening the edit modal, calculating the new price, setting the value, and saving the changes. This turns what could be dozens of manual operations into a single batch action, making store pricing management and product margin adjustments significantly faster and more consistent.
WHERE IT RUNS
This script runs exclusively on the Printful web application in your browser. It activates on the product list page and store dashboard within the Printful interface. It requires the BotGentz extension to inject and execute the script. The tool does not work on the Printful mobile app, the API, or any third-party Printful clients — only the web-based Printful interface accessed through a Chromium-based or Firefox browser. It specifically targets pages under *.printful.com, including the Printful products and store views.
HOW TO USE
After installing the script via BotGentz, navigate to your Printful dashboard and open the Products page. The tool automatically detects the product list and displays a floating panel on the right side. The panel shows all products on the current page, with checkboxes next to each product entry. Each product displays its name, SKU, and current price. Use the search box to filter by name or SKU to narrow down your selection. Check the boxes for every product you want to update. Below the product list, select your adjustment type — "Percentage (%)" for percentage-based changes or "Fixed amount ($)" for flat dollar adjustments. Enter the adjustment value (e.g., 10 for a 10% increase or $5.00 for a fixed increase). Click "Update Prices" and confirm the action. The tool will process each selected product one by one — opening the edit modal, calculating the new price, setting the value, and saving. A status message appears when the operation completes, showing how many products were successfully updated and the total price change.
THE ACTUAL MECHANISM — WHY IT WORKS
Printful's web interface is built with React and uses a component-based rendering system for its product management. The product list is rendered as table rows or cards, each containing product metadata and action buttons. This tool scans the DOM for product items using multiple selector patterns that Printful consistently uses across versions. For each product, it extracts the name, SKU, and current price from the visible text content and data attributes. Each product is assigned a unique identifier from data attributes or checkbox values. When updating prices, the tool locates the edit button within each product item and triggers a click event that opens Printful's edit modal. The tool calculates the new price based on the selected adjustment type — percentage increase (price * (1 + value/100)) or fixed amount (price + value) — and rounds to two decimal places. The tool then sets the price value using React-friendly event dispatching — setting the value via the native setter and dispatching both "input" and "change" events to ensure React registers the update. The tool then clicks the modal's save/update button, waits for the modal to close, and proceeds to the next product. This approach works without making direct API calls, which would require authentication credentials and knowledge of Printful's internal API structure. By using the existing UI, the tool works within Printful's own permission and validation system, and continues to function even if the underlying API changes.
THE PANEL
The floating panel is fully draggable — click and drag the header to reposition it anywhere on the page. The panel's position is saved per site in localStorage, so it reappears exactly where you left it when you return to the products page. Double-click the header to snap the panel to the nearest edge (left or right). A collapse button minimizes the panel to a small tab showing a price emoji badge, keeping it out of the way while still accessible. The product list inside the panel is scrollable and resizes vertically based on the number of products. Pressing Escape while the panel is focused closes it completely; reopening is done via a small button injected near the page toolbar. All panel interactions are non-blocking — Printful's main UI remains fully responsive while the panel is open, and the panel updates automatically when you navigate between pages.
PLEASE NOTE
This script requires the BotGentz extension (free) to run user scripts on Printful. Printful frequently updates its web interface and modal structures; if the tool stops working, check for an updated version within BotGentz's script repository. This tool does not store, transmit, or log any product data, pricing information, or store details — all operations occur locally in your browser with no external network requests except those made by Printful itself. Price updates are applied through Printful's own UI event system, so all changes respect your store permissions and pricing rules. The tool does not bypass Printful's security or permission system; it simply automates the clicks you would otherwise perform manually. For stores with a large number of products, the tool may take several minutes to complete the operation, as each product is processed sequentially with delays to avoid overwhelming the UI. A progress indicator shows which product is currently being processed. Always double-check your selections and adjustment values before applying changes, as bulk price updates can affect store revenue and product margins. The tool only affects products visible on the current page; to update all products, use Printful's built-in pagination controls or adjust your filters to show all relevant products.
