WHAT IT DOES

This tool helps ThredUp sellers estimate their payouts by calculating item-by-item earnings after fees. It scans seller payout pages for item data—names, brands, categories, sale prices, payout percentages, and estimated payouts. The panel displays each item with its sale price, estimated payout, and payout percentage color-coded—green for high (60%+), yellow for medium (40-60%), and red for low (below 40%). A fee breakdown shows commission and processing fees per item. The total estimated payout for the bundle is displayed prominently, with a summary showing total sale value, average payout, and number of high-payout items. Quick "View" buttons open item detail pages, and the export function copies all data as CSV to your clipboard.

WHERE IT RUNS

The script activates on ThredUp pages (thredup.com), including seller payout pages, sold items sections, and seller dashboards. It automatically detects payout data using multiple extraction strategies that work across different ThredUp layouts. The panel appears as a draggable overlay that stays accessible as you review your payouts.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to your ThredUp seller payout page. The panel will appear showing all items with their payout estimates. Select your preferred currency (USD, EUR, GBP). Set the "Commission %" to match ThredUp's current commission rate (default 20%). Set the "Processing" fee amount (default $2.95). Toggle "Fees on/off" to show or hide the fee breakdown per item. Set the "Refresh (s)" input to control how often the script checks for updates (default 60 seconds). The "Scan" button manually refreshes the data, and "Export CSV" copies all payout data to your clipboard. The total estimated payout is shown at the top, with a fee breakdown showing total commissions and processing fees. Items with high payout percentages are highlighted with a green border.

THE TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The script employs a multi-strategy DOM extraction approach for ThredUp's seller payout interface. It first attempts structured selectors targeting known class names like .payout-item, .sold-item, and .listing-item, then falls back to heuristic detection of item containers based on content patterns including "payout", "Payout", and "sold" indicators. Title extraction uses dedicated title elements or parsing the first non-numeric text line. Brand and category extraction targets dedicated elements. Sale prices are extracted using regex for currency amounts with support for $, €, and £ symbols. Payout percentages are extracted from text patterns or calculated from the estimated payout relative to the sale price. Estimated payouts are extracted directly or calculated using the formula: salePrice - (salePrice * commissionRate / 100) - processingFee. The fee breakdown display shows the commission and processing fee components for each item and for the total. The payout percentage color coding uses thresholds: 60%+ = high (green), 40-60% = medium (yellow), below 40% = low (red). The CSV export generates a formatted file with Item, Brand, Category, Sale Price, Est. Payout, Payout %, Commission, and Processing Fee columns. All settings are persisted using GM_setValue.

THE PANEL

The panel is fully draggable by its header and remembers its position on the page across sessions. It can be collapsed to a small bubble using the minimize button, then restored by clicking the bubble. The panel resizes automatically to fit its content and can be closed with the Escape key or by clicking the close button. The panel's position and state persist globally, so it returns to the same location on subsequent visits.

PLEASE NOTE

Requires the free BotGentz extension to run. ThredUp may update its site structure, which could affect the script's ability to detect payout data — updates will be released as needed. All payout data is read from the page and displayed locally; nothing is transmitted externally. The script reads data from the visible page and does not access any data beyond what is visibly presented. The script does not modify your ThredUp account or listings. Commission and processing fee rates are configurable—adjust them to match ThredUp's current fee structure. Estimated payouts are based on the fees you set and the sale prices on the page; actual payouts may vary. The CSV export copies data to your clipboard for personal use.
