About this app
WHAT IT DOES
TrainingPeaks Web Workout Compliance Badge automatically scans TrainingPeaks workout pages and extracts all planned and completed workout data including scheduled intervals, target zones, durations, and completed metrics. The tool compares what you planned against what you actually completed, calculating a compliance percentage for each individual interval and the overall workout. A floating badge displays the overall compliance score with color-coding—green for 90% or above (on track), yellow for 70-89% (partial adherence), and red for below 70% (off track). Per-interval compliance indicators show color-coded bars and status labels for each segment, making it easy to identify which parts of the workout were completed as planned, partially completed, or missed entirely. Quick summary statistics show the number of completed, partial, and missed intervals at a glance. The tool helps you track your training adherence over time, providing objective feedback on how closely you're following your planned workouts.
WHERE IT RUNS
This extension operates exclusively on trainingpeaks.com domain pages that contain workout content—specifically pages with "/workout/" or "/workouts/" in the URL path, or pages that display workout details and interval data. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The compliance badge runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All workout data extraction, compliance calculations, and progress tracking occurs on your machine, ensuring your training data and activity remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.
HOW TO USE
After installing both BotGentz and this compliance badge, navigate to any TrainingPeaks workout page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying your overall workout compliance score as a large percentage in a circular gauge. The score is color-coded based on your adherence level. The summary section shows the number of intervals completed, partially completed, and missed. The "Interval Details" section lists each interval individually, showing the planned duration, zone, and target metrics alongside a compliance percentage and color-coded progress bar. This lets you see exactly which intervals were on target and which were off. The panel includes a toggle to automatically show the badge on workout pages, which is enabled by default. The tool saves your compliance threshold preferences and auto-show settings across sessions.
COMPLIANCE CALCULATION MECHANISM
The compliance badge uses a time-based calculation algorithm to determine adherence for each interval and the overall workout. For each interval in the workout, the tool extracts the planned duration and the completed duration by scanning the page for time values in MM:SS format. The compliance percentage for an interval is calculated as (completed duration / planned duration) × 100, capped at 100% to prevent over-compliance from skewing results. Intervals with completed duration between 90% and 110% of planned are rounded to 100%, as slight variations are considered normal. Intervals with no completed data are marked as missed (0% compliance). The overall workout compliance is calculated as the weighted average of all interval compliances, using planned duration as the weighting factor. This ensures that longer intervals contribute more to the overall score than shorter ones. The tool identifies completed data through pattern matching for "completed," "done," "actual," or "performed" labels, falling back to secondary column data when primary labels are not present.
THE PANEL
The compliance badge panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the TrainingPeaks workout page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you review your workout data. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and auto-show preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.
PLEASE NOTE
This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the compliance badge does not work standalone. TrainingPeaks occasionally updates its page layouts and workout presentation formats, which may temporarily affect data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts workout data from the visible page content; if workout data is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Compliance calculations are based on durations extracted from the page and may not account for all workout types or complex interval structures. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all workout data extraction, compliance calculations, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser. This tool is designed for personal training feedback and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TrainingPeaks or its parent company. Compliance scores are provided as guidance for training adherence and should be interpreted in the context of your overall training goals and individual circumstances.
