WHAT IT DOES

The tool then exports the selected jobs to your clipboard in the chosen format. WHERE IT RUNS

This script operates exclusively on Upwork (*.upwork.com/*) as a userscript injected through the BotGentz extension. It runs within the context of your current browser tab and cannot access other tabs, bookmarks, history, or downloads. The script reads the page DOM to identify job listings using Upwork's selectors (.job-tile, .job-posting, .card), extracts job details (title, budget, description, link), and formats the data for export. All operations occur locally in your browser; no data is sent to external servers. The script outputs the job data to your clipboard.

HOW TO USE

1. Navigate to any Upwork job search results page.

2. Click the BotGentz extension icon and select "Upwork Bulk Job Save from Search" from the script list.

3. The panel opens on the right side of the page. It automatically scans the current page for job listings.

4. Review the detected jobs, showing titles, budgets, and description previews.

5. Select your export format: Plain Text, CSV, or TSV.

6. Toggle "Include description" to include job descriptions in the export.

7. Check the boxes next to jobs you wish to export. Use "Select All" or "Deselect All" for quick selection.

8. Click "Export Selected" to copy the job data to your clipboard.

9. Paste the exported data into a spreadsheet, document, or job tracking tool.

WHY IT WORKS WHERE OTHERS FAIL

Many job search tools require browser extensions with broad permissions or complex setup. This script takes a different approach: it works directly on Upwork's search results pages, using flexible DOM selectors that adapt to the site's structure. It extracts job details using multiple selector strategies—looking for titles, budgets, descriptions, and links using both data-testid attributes and class-based selectors—making it resilient to layout changes. The script gracefully handles cases where some details may be missing by falling back to text parsing. By supporting multiple export formats (plain text, CSV, TSV) and configurable description inclusion, it provides flexibility for different use cases, from quick job reviews to detailed comparison spreadsheets.

THE PANEL

The script uses BotGentz's BGPanel system, which provides a floating, draggable panel on the right side of your screen. Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on the page—the panel remembers its position per site and snaps to the nearest edge when released. Click the minimize button to collapse the panel to a small floating bubble; click the bubble to expand it back. Resize the panel vertically by dragging its bottom edge. Press the Escape key to close the panel entirely. All panel state (position, collapsed/expanded) is persisted locally using GM_setValue, so your preferences survive page reloads.

This userscript requires the free BotGentz browser extension—it is not a standalone application. Upwork periodically updates its website layout and UI components; if the script stops working, an updated version may be released. The script extracts job data from the current page—it does not search for new jobs or paginate beyond the current view. CSV exports use comma as delimiter, TSV uses tab. This script does not store, transmit, or process any of your data outside your local browser. It does not access your password, hidden inputs, or file inputs. All data extraction is performed locally in your browser. Use responsibly and verify extracted data against the actual job listings before making decisions.
