WHAT IT DOES

VIPKid Web Class Schedule Overlay automatically scans VIPKid class schedule and booking pages to extract comprehensive class data including student name, class time, class type (MC, Trial, Starter, Level 1-6, Grammar, Reading, Vocabulary), class duration, booking status (Upcoming, Confirmed, Pending, Completed, Cancelled, No Show), and materials needed. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a calendar view of upcoming classes with a countdown to the next class. Confirmed classes are highlighted with green indicators, pending booking requests with yellow, and upcoming classes with blue. A summary shows total teaching hours, upcoming classes count, and completed classes count. Pending requests are displayed separately for quick attention. Materials needed are shown for each class when available. This provides a complete, organized view of your VIPKid class schedule and helps you stay on top of all your teaching commitments.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on vipkid.com domain pages that contain class schedule and booking content—specifically pages with "/schedule", "/class", "/dashboard", or "/teacher" in the URL path, or pages that display class schedules and booking information. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The class schedule overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All class data extraction, schedule organization, and tracking preferences are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your class data and scheduling preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this class schedule overlay, navigate to any VIPKid class schedule or booking page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total teaching hours, upcoming classes, and completed classes. The "Upcoming Classes" section lists all upcoming and confirmed classes with student name, class time, class type, duration, status badge, and materials needed when available. Pending booking requests are shown separately in a "Pending Requests" section for quick attention. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your teaching schedule and helps you track all your upcoming classes.

CLASS DATA EXTRACTION AND SCHEDULE ORGANIZATION

The class schedule overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse class data from VIPKid pages. It first attempts to find structured class elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "class-item," "class-card," "schedule-item," and "booking-item." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for class-related patterns using pattern matching for student names, time formats, and class type keywords. Student names are extracted through pattern matching for "student:" labels or capitalized names. Class times are extracted through pattern matching for time formats. Class types are classified using a comprehensive list including MC, Trial, Starter, Level 1-6, Grammar, Reading, and Vocabulary. Class duration is extracted through pattern matching for minute values. Booking status is classified through keyword detection for "Confirmed," "Pending," "Completed," "Cancelled," "No Show," or "Upcoming." Materials needed are extracted through pattern matching for "materials:" labels. Total teaching hours are extracted through pattern matching for total hours labels. Classes are organized by status with upcoming and confirmed classes displayed prominently and pending requests highlighted separately.

THE PANEL

The class schedule overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the VIPKid schedule page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you manage your schedule. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and schedule view preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the class schedule overlay does not work standalone. VIPKid occasionally updates its page layouts and schedule presentation formats, which may temporarily affect class data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts class data from the visible page content; if schedule information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Class type classification is based on keyword detection and may not capture all class types with perfect accuracy. Materials needed information is extracted when available and is for reference only. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all class data extraction, schedule organization, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
