WHAT IT DOES

Wag Web Walk Confirmation Tracker automatically scans Wag walking confirmation and booking pages to extract comprehensive walk data including pet name, walk date and time, walk duration, pickup address, drop-off address, walk status (Upcoming, Confirmed, Pending, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled), and earnings amount. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of upcoming and completed walks with a countdown to the next walk. Confirmed walks are highlighted with green indicators, pending walk requests with yellow, and upcoming walks with blue. Summary statistics show total earnings, upcoming walks count, and completed walks count. Pending walk requests are displayed separately for quick attention. This provides a complete, organized view of your Wag walking schedule and helps you stay on top of all your walks.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on wagwalking.com domain pages that contain walk and booking content—specifically pages with "/walks", "/booking", "/dashboard", or "/walker" in the URL path, or pages that display walk listings and booking information. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The walk confirmation tracker runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All walk data extraction, status tracking, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your walk data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this walk tracker, navigate to any Wag walks or booking page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total earnings, upcoming walks, and completed walks. The "Upcoming" section lists all upcoming and confirmed walks with pet name, date/time, duration, earnings, and status badge. Pending walk requests are shown separately in a "Pending Requests" section for quick attention. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your walking schedule and helps you track all your confirmed and pending walks.

WALK DATA EXTRACTION AND STATUS TRACKING

The walk confirmation tracker uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse walk data from Wag pages. It first attempts to find structured walk elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "walk-item," "walk-card," "booking-item," and "appointment-item." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for walk-related patterns using pattern matching for pet names, date/time formats, and dollar amounts. Pet names are extracted through pattern matching for "pet:" labels or capitalized names. Walk date and time are extracted through pattern matching for date and time formats. Walk duration is extracted through pattern matching for minute values. Pickup and drop-off addresses are extracted through pattern matching for "pickup:" and "drop-off:" labels. Earnings amounts are extracted through pattern matching for dollar values. Walk status is classified through keyword detection for "Confirmed," "Pending," "Completed," "Cancelled," "In Progress," or "Upcoming." Total earnings are extracted through pattern matching for total earnings labels. Walks are organized by status with upcoming and confirmed walks displayed prominently and pending requests highlighted separately.

THE PANEL

The walk confirmation tracker panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Wag walks page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you manage your walks. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and walk tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the walk confirmation tracker does not work standalone. Wag occasionally updates its page layouts and walk presentation formats, which may temporarily affect walk data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts walk data from the visible page content; if walk information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Status classification is based on keyword detection and may not capture all walk status variations with perfect accuracy. Earnings totals are extracted from the page and are for reference only. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all walk data extraction, status tracking, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
