WHAT IT DOES

Wyzant Web Session Confirmation Tracker automatically scans Wyzant session and scheduling pages to extract comprehensive session data including subject, student name, session date and time, duration, session status (Upcoming, Confirmed, Pending, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled, No Show), and earnings amount. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of upcoming and completed sessions with a countdown to the next session. Confirmed sessions are highlighted with green indicators, pending booking requests with yellow, and upcoming sessions with blue. Summary statistics show total earnings, upcoming sessions count, and completed sessions count. Pending session requests are displayed separately for quick attention. This provides a complete, organized view of your Wyzant tutoring schedule and helps you stay on top of all your sessions.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on wyzant.com domain pages that contain session and scheduling content—specifically pages with "/sessions", "/schedule", "/dashboard", or "/tutor" in the URL path, or pages that display session listings and scheduling information. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The session confirmation tracker runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All session data extraction, status tracking, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your session data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this session tracker, navigate to any Wyzant sessions or scheduling page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total earnings, upcoming sessions, and completed sessions. The "Upcoming Sessions" section lists all upcoming and confirmed sessions with student name, subject, date/time, duration, earnings, and status badge. Pending session requests are shown separately in a "Pending Requests" section for quick attention. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your tutoring schedule and helps you track all your upcoming sessions.

SESSION DATA EXTRACTION AND STATUS TRACKING

The session confirmation tracker uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse session data from Wyzant pages. It first attempts to find structured session elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "session-item," "session-card," "schedule-item," and "booking-item." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for session-related patterns using pattern matching for student names, subject keywords, time formats, and dollar amounts. Student names are extracted through pattern matching for "student:" labels or capitalized names. Subjects are extracted through pattern matching for "subject:" labels or common subject keywords. Session date and time are extracted through pattern matching for date and time formats. Duration is extracted through pattern matching for minute or hour values. Earnings amounts are extracted through pattern matching for dollar values. Session status is classified through keyword detection for "Confirmed," "Pending," "Completed," "Cancelled," "In Progress," "No Show," or "Upcoming." Total earnings are extracted through pattern matching for total earnings labels. Sessions are organized by status with upcoming and confirmed sessions displayed prominently and pending requests highlighted separately.

THE PANEL

The session confirmation tracker panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Wyzant sessions page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you manage your sessions. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and session tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the session confirmation tracker does not work standalone. Wyzant occasionally updates its page layouts and session presentation formats, which may temporarily affect session data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts session data from the visible page content; if session information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Status classification is based on keyword detection and may not capture all session status variations with perfect accuracy. Earnings totals are extracted from the page and are for reference only. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all session data extraction, status tracking, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
