WHAT IT DOES

Ad Budget Pacing Calculator is a floating calculator panel that helps you monitor ad campaign spending. Enter total budget, total campaign days, days elapsed, and spend to date. The panel calculates daily budget, projected spend, remaining budget, required daily spend, and pacing status — showing whether you're ahead, behind, or on track. This helps you make informed decisions about adjusting campaign spend.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script runs on any website you visit. It reads only the page you are looking at, never other tabs, bookmarks, or browser data. All data stays in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.

HOW TO USE

Click the Ad Budget Pacing Calculator panel button in the BotGentz extension toolbar. The panel appears at the edge of the page. Enter your total budget, total campaign days, days elapsed, and spend to date. The panel updates instantly — showing daily budget, projected spend, pacing status (ahead/behind/on track with percentage), remaining budget, and required daily spend. Use "Copy Results" to copy the full analysis to your clipboard. You can save your default budget and days settings — they persist across pages.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The calculator uses standard pacing formulas: Daily Budget = Budget / Total Days. Projected Spend = (Spend to Date / Days Elapsed) × Total Days. Pacing is calculated by comparing actual spend to expected spend (Daily Budget × Days Elapsed), with a ±5% tolerance for "on track." Remaining Budget = Budget - Spend to Date. Required Daily Spend = Remaining Budget / Days Remaining. All calculations run client-side in pure JavaScript, with no external dependencies. The UI updates in real time as you type.

THE PANEL

The panel is a floating overlay that you can drag anywhere on the screen by its header. It remembers its position per site so it reappears where you left it. The panel can be collapsed into a small handle to get it out of the way, and snapped to the edge of the page. It can be resized to fit your workflow. Press Escape to close the panel.
