Describe any recurring task, workflow, or time-consuming activity, and the agent returns a curated list of five productivity apps or tools that directly address your specific challenge. Each recommendation includes the app name, a clear description of what it does, and a practical explanation of how it applies to your unique situation. Whether you're drowning in emails, struggling with project coordination, or manually entering data across spreadsheets, this agent cuts through the noise and points you to solutions that actually fit your workflow.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf and paste your BotGentz API key once (the host stores it securely). In the input box, describe a task or workflow you want to improve—be specific about what you do, what takes time, and what you wish were automated. Press "Find Apps" or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter) to run. The agent analyzes your description and returns five relevant app recommendations with tailored explanations. You can also click "Use page selection" to pull selected text from the surrounding page—such as a task list, project description, or process documentation—directly into the input field. Regenerate as many times as you like within your monthly limit, refining your description to get more targeted suggestions.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you type into the input box—nothing else. It does not send browser history, cookies, page context, analytics, or any hidden metadata. The request fires only when you explicitly click the find apps button or press the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record only that a request occurred and the timestamp, for billing and quota tracking; they never log the content of your task description or the recommended apps. Your workflow data is not stored, shared, or used for model training. The bridge transmits a form-encoded POST payload, and the response returns directly to your panel.

SUBSCRIPTION

The agent costs $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial and no upfront charge. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—sufficient for exploring different workflows, testing multiple descriptions, or iterating on your task definitions to find the best recommendations. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the seventh day. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees.

THE PANEL

The agent runs as a movable, resizable panel inside BotSurf. Drag the panel by its header to position it anywhere on screen; it snaps to the nearest edge for a tidy workspace. Click the collapse button or press the Escape key to minimize it to a small floating bubble, keeping it accessible without blocking your view. The panel remembers its position and collapsed state across sessions using the host's state API. The header shows only the title text, while the collapsed bubble displays the emoji icon for quick visual identification.

This agent uses a large language model to generate recommendations based on patterns in its training data. While designed to be helpful, AI can suggest tools that are outdated, unsuitable for your specific tech stack, or no longer actively maintained.
