About this app
WHAT IT DOES
AI Referral Letter Drafter Health creates professional, clinical referral letter drafts for healthcare professionals. Provide patient details including presenting complaint, relevant history, current medications, and the specialty requested, and the agent returns a structured draft with four sections: Patient Information (name, DOB, and MRN placeholder), Clinical Summary (2-3 sentences summarizing the patient's history and current status), Reason for Referral (specific concerns prompting the referral), and Action Requested (what the specialist should do). The output uses clinical language and follows professional medical correspondence conventions. Whether you're a physician, nurse practitioner, or other healthcare provider, this agent helps you draft referral letters quickly while maintaining a professional tone.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf and paste your BotGentz API key once (the host stores it securely). In the input box, enter the patient's name and date of birth, a clear description of the presenting complaint, relevant medical history, current medications, and the specialty to which you are referring. Press "Draft Letter" or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter) to run. The agent returns a formatted referral letter draft with all four sections. You can also click "Use page selection" to pull selected text from the surrounding page—such as electronic health record notes, lab results, or clinical guidelines—directly into the input field. Regenerate as many times as you like within your monthly limit, refining your details to produce more precise drafts.
WHAT IT SENDS
The agent sends exactly the text you type into the input box—nothing else. It does not send browser history, cookies, page context, analytics, or any hidden metadata. The request fires only when you explicitly click the draft button or press the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record only that a request occurred and the timestamp, for billing and quota tracking; they never log the content of your patient data or the generated letter. Your clinical information is not stored, shared, or used for model training. The bridge transmits a form-encoded POST payload, and the response returns directly to your panel.
SUBSCRIPTION
The agent costs $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial and no upfront charge. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—sufficient for generating referral letters across multiple patients, refining drafts for different specialties, or supporting ongoing clinical workflow needs. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the seventh day. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees.
THE PANEL
The agent runs as a movable, resizable panel inside BotSurf. Drag the panel by its header to position it anywhere on screen; it snaps to the nearest edge for a tidy workspace. Click the collapse button or press the Escape key to minimize it to a small floating bubble, keeping it accessible without blocking your view. The panel remembers its position and collapsed state across sessions using the host's state API. The header shows only the title text, while the collapsed bubble displays the emoji icon for quick visual identification.
PLEASE NOTE
This agent uses a large language model to generate text based on patterns in its training data. While designed to be helpful, AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate clinical content. This tool provides a draft only and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. Always review and edit generated referrals carefully for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to your institution's standards before signing or sending. This draft is for clinical use only and does not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For specific patient decisions, consult with qualified healthcare professionals and follow your clinical guidelines.
