AI Student Progress Note Summarizer helps teachers, tutors, and education professionals transform scattered observation notes into clear, structured student progress summaries. Provide a collection of student progress notes, observation logs, or assessment comments, and the agent returns a structured summary with four sections: Strengths (key skills or areas where the student excels), Areas for Improvement (specific skills or concepts needing development), Progress Trends (observed patterns in performance over time), and Recommendations (actionable suggestions for next steps). The output is concise, constructive, and student-focused, making it easy to communicate progress to parents, develop individual education plans, or track growth over time.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf and paste your BotGentz API key once (the host stores it securely). In the input box, enter your student progress notes, observation logs, or assessment comments—one per line or in paragraph form. Press "Summarize Progress" or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter) to run. The agent returns a formatted summary with all four sections. You can also click "Use page selection" to pull selected text from the surrounding page—such as grade books, assessment records, or teacher notes—directly into the input field. Regenerate as many times as you like within your monthly limit, refining your notes to produce summaries that better capture student performance.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you type into the input box—nothing else. It does not send browser history, cookies, page context, analytics, or any hidden metadata. The request fires only when you explicitly click the summarize button or press the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record only that a request occurred and the timestamp, for billing and quota tracking; they never log the content of your student data or the generated summary. Your student progress information is not stored, shared, or used for model training. The bridge transmits a form-encoded POST payload, and the response returns directly to your panel.

SUBSCRIPTION

The agent costs $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial and no upfront charge. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—sufficient for summarizing progress for multiple students, tracking growth over time, or supporting ongoing educational planning. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the seventh day. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees.

THE PANEL

The agent runs as a movable, resizable panel inside BotSurf. Drag the panel by its header to position it anywhere on screen; it snaps to the nearest edge for a tidy workspace. Click the collapse button or press the Escape key to minimize it to a small floating bubble, keeping it accessible without blocking your view. The panel remembers its position and collapsed state across sessions using the host's state API. The header shows only the title text, while the collapsed bubble displays the emoji icon for quick visual identification.
