About this app

WHAT IT DOES

AI Subcontractor Scope Clarifier helps general contractors, project managers, and construction professionals create clear, precise scope-of-work documents for subcontractors. Provide a project description, subcontractor trade, work scope details, and site conditions, and the agent returns a structured scope clarification document with four sections: Work Summary (a clear overview of what will be done), Inclusions (specific tasks and materials included in the subcontractor's scope), Exclusions (tasks or materials explicitly not included to prevent scope creep), and Assumptions (conditions or dependencies the work relies on, such as site access or utility availability). The output uses plain, unambiguous language designed to prevent misunderstandings and disputes between contractors and subcontractors.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf and paste your BotGentz API key once (the host stores it securely). In the input box, enter the project name or description, the subcontractor's trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC), the specific scope of work details, and any relevant site conditions. Press "Clarify Scope" or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter) to run. The agent returns a formatted scope clarification document with all four sections. You can also click "Use page selection" to pull selected text from the surrounding page—such as project plans, specifications, or contract documents—directly into the input field. Regenerate as many times as you like within your monthly limit, refining your details to produce more precise scope definitions.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you type into the input box—nothing else. It does not send browser history, cookies, page context, analytics, or any hidden metadata. The request fires only when you explicitly click the clarify button or press the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record only that a request occurred and the timestamp, for billing and quota tracking; they never log the content of your project data or the generated scope document. Your construction project information is not stored, shared, or used for model training. The bridge transmits a form-encoded POST payload, and the response returns directly to your panel.

SUBSCRIPTION

The agent costs $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial and no upfront charge. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—sufficient for clarifying scope across multiple subcontractors, trades, or projects. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the seventh day. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees.

THE PANEL

The agent runs as a movable, resizable panel inside BotSurf. Drag the panel by its header to position it anywhere on screen; it snaps to the nearest edge for a tidy workspace. Click the collapse button or press the Escape key to minimize it to a small floating bubble, keeping it accessible without blocking your view. The panel remembers its position and collapsed state across sessions using the host's state API. The header shows only the title text, while the collapsed bubble displays the emoji icon for quick visual identification.

PLEASE NOTE

This agent uses a large language model to generate text based on patterns in its training data. While designed to be helpful, AI can produce incomplete, ambiguous, or inaccurate scope descriptions. This tool provides a draft only and is not a substitute for professional contract review, legal advice, or construction management expertise. Scope documents may have significant legal and financial implications. Always review generated clarifications for accuracy and completeness before including them in any contract or agreement. For specific construction decisions, consult with qualified construction professionals, contract managers, or legal counsel.
