It reads and displays subnet configuration including subnet ID and name, subnet control keys for administrative access, subnet validator set with all participating validators, subnet validator staking amounts showing staked tokens, subnet validator start time and end time for staking periods, subnet validator weight for consensus power, subnet validator node IDs for identification, subnet validator uptime for reliability, subnet validator reward rates for earnings, subnet active validators count for participation, subnet pending validators for queue status, subnet current block height for chain progress, subnet chain state for overall health, subnet gas parameters for transaction costs, subnet fee structure for economic model, subnet native token balance for liquidity, subnet account state for user accounts, subnet contract deployments for smart contracts, subnet transaction volume for activity, subnet network latency metrics for performance, subnet health status for operational status, subnet governance state for decision-making, subnet chain configuration for settings, subnet upgrade status for version tracking, subnet validator performance metrics for efficiency, and subnet validator delegation info for staking relationships. HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet to the tool and select the network where your Avalanche subnet is running. Enter the subnet ID and RPC endpoint in the input fields. Click "Manage Subnet" to connect to the subnet and retrieve its operational state. The tool will query the subnet for block height, validator set, staking information, gas parameters, health status, governance state, and upgrade status. Results are displayed in organized cards showing subnet status, subnet ID, name, block height, active validators, pending validators, total staked, reward rate, gas parameter, health status, governance state, and upgrade status. The tool works with any Avalanche subnet accessible via RPC endpoint.

THE MECHANISM

Avalanche Subnet Manager performs client-side simulation of subnet monitoring by aggregating state information from various Avalanche components. The tool connects to the specified subnet RPC endpoint and queries subnet state including current block information, validator set, and staking statistics. Subnet configuration is retrieved from the subnet's genesis and chain configuration. Validator set information is obtained from the subnet's validator manager contract, including staking amounts, start/end times, weights, and uptime. Active and pending validators are counted from the validator set. Gas parameters and fee structures are read from the subnet's chain configuration. Health status is derived from validator responsiveness and network latency metrics. Governance state is queried from the subnet's governance module. Upgrade status is determined from the subnet's runtime version. The tool simulates the process of connecting to a subnet node, establishing a client, and querying multiple storage items efficiently using batch requests.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

Avalanche Subnet Manager cannot verify that the subnet validators are actually following the protocol or behaving honestly, as that requires monitoring validator behavior and consensus. The tool cannot detect if the subnet is under active attack or experiencing consensus issues, as that requires real-time monitoring of multiple validators. It cannot verify that the subnet's chain state is accurate without running a full node. The tool cannot predict subnet validator performance or uptime, as those depend on future conditions. It cannot guarantee that the subnet will remain operational or responsive, as network conditions may change. The tool also cannot detect if the subnet has been compromised or if the RPC endpoint is providing stale data.

Avalanche Subnet Manager supports EVM-compatible chains only. The tool is a client-side simulation and does not execute or deploy code to any blockchain. Subnet management results are for observation and diagnostics only. The tool is free to use and does not store or transmit any subnet data off-device. Always verify subnet IDs and RPC endpoints from official sources before relying on results.
