About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Car Rental Price by Browsing Region Switcher is a dedicated region-switching tool that helps you understand which car rental platforms and regional pricing variations become accessible when BotSurf is set to a specific country or region. It is not a VPN or proxy; it works alongside BotSurf to change the apparent location that car rental platforms use to determine your regional access. By doing so, it surfaces the local platform availability, rate differences, currency options, local deals, insurance requirements, rental age policies, and vehicle class availability that are normally shown to travelers browsing from that region. This makes it easier to compare regional car rental prices, discover local deals, and navigate the complex landscape of car rental geo-pricing strategies.

WHAT THE REGION CHANGES — SPECIFIC

When the region is set to a specific country, this app reflects the following practical changes:

• Platform availability becomes visible — Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Sixt, Budget, Europcar, Kayak, Expedia, and regional rental services (e.g., Times Car Rental, Nippon Rent-A-Car, Toyota Rent a Car in Japan) have different regional footprints and local partnerships.

• Currency and rate trends are shown — USD with dynamic US market rates in the US, GBP with UK market rates and EU deals in the UK, and JPY with Japan market rates and local deals in Japan.

• Insurance requirements are displayed — CDW/LDW is often included in the US, CDW included with varying excess in the UK, and CDW included with additional options in Japan.

• Rental age policies are noted — minimum age 21 (with under 25 surcharge) in the US and UK, and minimum age 20 (with under 23 surcharge) in Japan.

• Vehicle class availability is listed — economy, compact, full-size, and SUVs in the US; economy, compact, estate, and SUVs in the UK; and compact, standard, and minivans in Japan.

• Catalog gaps are identified — some EU-specific models are limited in the US, US-specific models are limited in the UK, and international models are limited in Japan.

This is not a universal unlock — it changes what is shown, not what is available. The visible rate options and regional insights update based on the region value passed to the platform.

HOW TO USE

Open the app over any car rental website or travel platform where you want to see regional pricing variations. It works in two modes:

• Layered over a live page — activate the panel while browsing the rental platform; the page stays in the background and you can consult the region status, platform availability, and rate differences without losing your place.

• Full frame — when there is no underlying page, the app stands alone as a dashboard showing the current region and the expected car rental information.

Once the app is open, check the region chip in the header to confirm you are browsing as a specific country. If not, use the "switch" button or the "Prompt region change" button in the main card to ask BotSurf to switch. When a region change is initiated, your browser will ask for permission to reload; accept the reload to apply the new region to the page underneath. If you choose not to reload, the app will still show the updated region status, but the underlying rental page will continue to use the previous region until it is refreshed manually.

Use the editable reference table to keep notes of car rental data you have observed — it is a static memory aid, not a live feed. The consistency check helps you see if your own browser signals (timezone, language) agree with the claimed region, which is important because some car rental platforms cross-check these signals.

WHAT IT CANNOT DO

This app does not route traffic or mask your IP address — BotSurf handles that separately. It cannot bypass rental company-imposed regional pricing restrictions, which are enforced by car rental companies and booking platforms based on your detected location, account billing address, and regional pricing strategies. It cannot guarantee access to any specific rate or vehicle, as availability depends on fleet inventory, dynamic pricing algorithms, and regional demand. It cannot override the terms of service of rental platforms such as Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Sixt, Budget, Europcar, Kayak, Expedia, or any other provider. It cannot authenticate with a rental service or provider — you must have a valid payment method, driver's license, and account to complete bookings. It cannot affect account entitlements, loyalty points, or rental history that are tied to your billing address or registered location rather than your browsing region. It is a front-end region indicator and informational tool, not a licence circumvention or authentication solution.

PLEASE NOTE

Many car rental platforms actively detect and block VPN or region-switching traffic. While this app is designed to work with BotSurf, some services may still serve a default global view or require a local billing address or payment method to access regional rates. Terms of service for these platforms may prohibit using region-switching tools to access region-restricted rates; users should review applicable terms and use this tool responsibly. This app does not store personal or payment data — all region state is held in memory only for the current page session. Car rental data in the reference table is static and not guaranteed to be current; always verify with the platform.
