About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Flight Price by Browsing Region Switcher is a dedicated region-switching tool that helps you understand which flight search platforms and regional pricing variations become accessible when BotSurf is set to a specific country or region. It is not a VPN or proxy; it works alongside BotSurf to change the apparent location that flight booking platforms use to determine your regional access. By doing so, it surfaces the local platform availability, fare differences, currency options, local deals, baggage fee variations, and booking terms that are normally shown to travelers browsing from that region. This makes it easier to compare regional flight prices, discover local deals, and navigate the complex landscape of airline geo-pricing strategies.

WHAT THE REGION CHANGES — SPECIFIC

When the region is set to a specific country, this app reflects the following practical changes:

• Platform availability becomes visible — Skyscanner, Kayak, Google Flights, Expedia, Momondo, Kiwi, and regional OTAs (e.g., MakeMyTrip and ClearTrip in India, British Airways in the UK) have different regional footprints and local partnerships.

• Currency and fare trends are shown — USD with dynamic US origin fares in the US, GBP with UK origin fares and EU deals in the UK, and INR with India origin fares and budget deals in India.

• Baggage fees are displayed — $30–$40 first bag in the US, £25–£35 first bag in the UK, and ₹800–₹1,200 first bag in India, reflecting regional airline policies.

• Booking terms are noted — free cancellation within 24 hours in the US and UK, varying by airline in India.

• Catalog gaps are identified — some EU/UK local deals are limited in the US, US-specific deals are limited in the UK, and international deals are often limited in India.

• Fare-class availability differences are highlighted — airlines often offer different fare classes and availability based on the region of purchase.

This is not a universal unlock — it changes what is shown, not what is available. The visible fare options and regional insights update based on the region value passed to the platform.

HOW TO USE

Open the app over any flight search website or booking platform where you want to see regional pricing variations. It works in two modes:

• Layered over a live page — activate the panel while browsing the flight platform; the page stays in the background and you can consult the region status, platform availability, and fare differences without losing your place.

• Full frame — when there is no underlying page, the app stands alone as a dashboard showing the current region and the expected flight pricing information.

Once the app is open, check the region chip in the header to confirm you are browsing as a specific country. If not, use the "switch" button or the "Prompt region change" button in the main card to ask BotSurf to switch. When a region change is initiated, your browser will ask for permission to reload; accept the reload to apply the new region to the page underneath. If you choose not to reload, the app will still show the updated region status, but the underlying booking page will continue to use the previous region until it is refreshed manually.

Use the editable reference table to keep notes of flight pricing data you have observed — it is a static memory aid, not a live feed. The consistency check helps you see if your own browser signals (timezone, language) agree with the claimed region, which is important because some flight platforms cross-check these signals.

WHAT IT CANNOT DO

This app does not route traffic or mask your IP address — BotSurf handles that separately. It cannot bypass airline-imposed regional pricing restrictions, which are enforced by airlines and booking platforms based on your detected location, account billing address, and regional pricing strategies. It cannot guarantee access to any specific fare or flight price, as availability depends on airline inventory, dynamic pricing algorithms, and regional demand. It cannot override the terms of service of flight platforms such as Skyscanner, Kayak, Google Flights, Expedia, Momondo, Kiwi, MakeMyTrip, ClearTrip, or any other provider. It cannot authenticate with a booking service or airline — you must have a valid payment method and account to complete bookings. It cannot affect account entitlements, loyalty points, or booking history that are tied to your billing address or registered location rather than your browsing region. It is a front-end region indicator and informational tool, not a licence circumvention or authentication solution.

PLEASE NOTE

Many flight booking platforms actively detect and block VPN or region-switching traffic. While this app is designed to work with BotSurf, some services may still serve a default global view or require a local billing address or payment method to access regional pricing. Terms of service for these platforms may prohibit using region-switching tools to access region-restricted fares; users should review applicable terms and use this tool responsibly. This app does not store personal or payment data — all region state is held in memory only for the current page session. Flight pricing data in the reference table is static and not guaranteed to be current; always verify with the platform.
