It identifies the product name, available customization options, base specifications, and seller details, then generates a well-structured request that clearly describes the desired modifications or customizations, specifies materials and dimensions, lists any special requirements, and asks about availability, timeline, and pricing. You can choose between a detailed or concise style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying product listings, customization options, design specifications, or artisan product pages. Common sources include Etsy, custom product stores, artisan marketplaces, specialty suppliers, and independent maker websites.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a product listing, customization options, or design specifications. Open the BotGentz extension and select Custom Order Request Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the desired modifications, dimensions, and optionally materials and special requirements. Select your preferred style (detailed or concise) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Request" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant product and customization details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a professional, detailed custom order request email in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

TECHNICAL SECTION — CUSTOMIZATION AND DESIGN SPECIFICATION EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on custom product and artisan communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing customization indicators such as "custom," "customization," "personalize," "modification," "option," "size," "color," "material," "dimensions," "engraving," "design," "specification," and "made to order." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the product data and surrounding structural markers (customization options, size charts, material selections, design notes). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a custom order context using features like customization language frequency ("choose," "select," "specify," "customize"), measurement patterns, material references, and design option markers. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into five core categories: the base product details, available customization options, materials and finishes, dimensions and sizing, and any special instructions or design notes. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, modifications, dimensions, materials, special requirements, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete custom order request with standardized sections (introduction, product reference, modification specifications, materials and dimensions, special requirements, availability and timeline inquiry, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated custom order requests are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss customization details or misread specifications. Websites change their product page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
