WHAT IT DOES

Dick's Sporting Goods Web ScoreCard Badge reads your ScoreCard points balance and tier status from your Dick's Sporting Goods account and displays a floating points badge on all pages. The badge shows your current points balance, ScoreCard tier (Bronze, Silver, or Gold), and a progress bar indicating how close you are to the next tier. When you reach a milestone of 50 or more points gained between visits, a desktop notification is triggered. The extension tracks points history, storing each points balance change with a timestamp. The panel displays your current points, tier, points needed to reach the next tier, and a history of your points balance over time. The badge is fully draggable, resizable, and remembers its position, size, and opacity across sessions.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension works on all Dick's Sporting Goods pages at dickssportinggoods.com and its subdomains, specifically on account pages where ScoreCard points and tier status are displayed. It runs on the main account page, the ScoreCard rewards page, and any page displaying loyalty information. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not access Dick's Sporting Goods' servers directly—it reads only what is visible on the page you are viewing. It works alongside the free BotGentz extension, which provides the necessary scripting environment.

HOW TO USE

Install the extension, then navigate to dickssportinggoods.com and log in to your account. The extension automatically creates a floating points badge on the page. Click the extension's icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings panel. Use the "Show Overlay" / "Hide Overlay" button to toggle the badge visibility. The badge shows your points, tier, and progress to the next tier. Use the "Refresh" button to manually update the badge with the latest points information. Adjust the overlay transparency using the opacity dropdown (70%, 82%, 92%, or 100%). The "Show milestone notifications" toggle controls whether you receive notifications when you gain 50 or more points. Drag the badge by clicking and holding anywhere inside it. Resize it by dragging the bottom-right corner. Close the badge with the × button.

SELECTOR-BASED POINTS EXTRACTION WITH TIER THRESHOLD CALCULATION

Unlike simple page scrapers, this extension uses a multi-selector extraction engine to find points balance and tier information from Dick's Sporting Goods' varying page structures. It searches for points balance using multiple selector patterns (.scorecard-points, .points-balance, .loyalty-points) and falls back to text parsing. Tier information is extracted using tier selector patterns. When progress to the next tier isn't explicitly displayed, the extension calculates it using known ScoreCard tier thresholds—0 points for Bronze, 500 points for Silver, and 1500 points for Gold. The progress percentage is calculated based on the current tier's threshold and the next tier's threshold. The extension stores points history as an array of records with timestamps, limited to 50 entries. When a new points balance is detected, it compares it to the last recorded balance and triggers a milestone notification if the difference is 50 points or more, with a once-per-day cooldown.

THE PANEL

The panel supports drag-to-move anywhere on the page. It remembers its position per site, so it stays where you placed it on dickssportinggoods.com. Click the panel header to collapse it down to just the minimized bubble, or click the expand handle to show the full panel. The panel can be resized by dragging the bottom-right corner. Press the Escape key to close the expanded panel and return to the minimized state. All panel settings, including position, size, collapsed state, opacity, notification preference, and points history, are saved per site and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed and active, as it provides the underlying DOM injection and script execution environment. Dick's Sporting Goods' website changes periodically, and loyalty element structures, class names, and page layouts may be updated. When that happens, the extension may stop detecting points data until an update is released. The extension stores your overlay position, size, opacity, visibility, notification preference, and points history locally in your browser's storage using GM_setValue. Points history is stored as an array of records with points balance and timestamp. The points displayed are read from the page—the extension does not calculate or modify your actual points balance. Always verify with Dick's Sporting Goods directly for the most accurate ScoreCard information. No data is ever sent to any server, and no personal information is collected. You can clear all stored settings at any time by clearing your browser data for dickssportinggoods.com.
